Maybe Mortal Kombat vs. Soul Calibur, but the Mortal Kombatants will only use a much improved weapon style.

Years ago there was rumors of MK vs. Street Fighter, but I never thought that was a good idea. I like the X-Men vs. MK. Wolverine vs Scorpion would be cool. Iceman vs. Sub-Zero? Cool Idea! But the first thing I think when I read the title of the thread was Tekken vs. MK. All the macthups that I can think of. Johnny Cage vs. Paul, Nina vs Kitana, Anna vs. Mileena, Law vs. Liu Kang, Brian Fury vs. Jax, the list goes on. I think that it's a great idea. To bad that it's not likely to happen, but then again it may just happen. You never know.

Mortal Kombat Versus Madden NFL 200X.

It would be a tricky thing to do because the MK combat system pales in comparison to anything else out there right now. Maybe MK8 will have a new combat system, and if they're going to do a vs. thing, I think they should do Street Fighter because that was the classic rivalry. It would be neat to have Jax beat Guile into a bloody pulp.

I would like to see MK vs Bloody Roar.

But hand to hand aside, MK also has projectiles and weapons...soul calibur, SF and xmen and tekken only have hand to hand plus one or the other, projectile or weapon...not both.

something would definately have to be added to another game or dropped from MK in terms of projectiles or weapons.

Ask me back in the mid 1990's, and its SF vs MK. But a lot has change sense than, MK is on game number 8.

While SF stop making games, after SF3. But are stuck in the vs series of games, Capcom vs Marvel, Capcom vs SNK, Capcom vs DC, Capcom vs who ever else is out there. I mean, sure the once in a life time vs game is great. But the movement you get on game 3 or 4 vs the SAME company. You lose respect. I never did like the ideal of Ryu fighting Spiderman.
Sure I can live with Ryu taking on Terry or Kyo because all 3 are from FIGHTING games, From KOF and SF. But once you have to take on Captain America from the comics, you lose what ever you got right there as a fighting game. I perfer SF4, and not Marvel vs Capcom 3.

So as of now Tekken and MK are not saleing out. SubZero is not going to take on Superman. Or Law fighting the Hulk. You can only fall so far, and Street Fighter fell, and hard.

Street Fighter vs X-Men should have told us something. We fail to listen lol.

So as it stands, Tekken vs Mortal Kombat. The too top fighting games. As when KI vs MK, as said above, Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat came a few years to late.
