Since Predator is owned by 20th Century Fox and Mortal Kombat X/Netherrealmstudios is owned by Warner Bros. What do you guys think it took, Netherrealm pretty much asked "Hey Fox, can we have one of your most iconic characters, and slaughter him in our game?" I am interested in 20th century fox's response when Netherrealm asked them, obviously money was involved, so how do you think they handled the money in this deal. I can't wait till further details are released about this deal. But leave your theories! I would like to hear.

They probably just made a deal where NRS and 20th Century both get a percentage of the profits for w/e Predator sells.

Given how successful MK9 was Fox knew they'd make a good chunk of profit, especially with such an iconic character.

It seems like some IPs are easily packaged and licensed for certain things. Like how all kinds of franchises appeared as shows and rides at Universal Studios Theme Park. Alien and Predator were there. So were the Avengers. And Harry Potter.

Harry Potter for MKX DLC.
