They were part of the internet series casting call, seems odd the others listed have materialized as main roster cast and these guys haven't. Bo Rai was even listed as the main character in the web series!! Do you think they were cut during development to make room for different characters?
I guess it's also possible that Ron Tan Cho was a pseudonym for Kano.

Or you can use your brain and realise that not all kombatants have been revealed yet

Yeah, it's still early- there's a few more spots left to be revealed over the next month.

Or, you could use yours and realise the leaked cast list has been 100% spot on.
Fool.

Did you read his reply? He said every kombatant in the game isn't revealed, which is true. They can still be in the game. Also, either could potentially just be a story influencing cameo in the game.

I doubt anybody is cut from the roster besides maybe early days. They need to write out the story and stuff in advance.

Would be a shame, Ron Tan Cho sounds like the most interesting out of them all, aside from the cringe worthy name.

I don't think either was cut.
Ron Tan Cho could be exclusive to the web-series; and Bo'Rai Cho if he's included in game will either be kept secret or be revealed late because he wouldn't appeal as much as returning MK9 characters do to casuals.

I'm I the only one that thinks Ron' Tan Cho is the guy at the bottom of the klassic towers photo? I really think that's him because he has a crime boss type vibe to his appearance.
Ron 'Tan Cho?
Ron 'Tan Cho?

That looks more like Jax to me.

Who the fuck is Ron Tan Cho?
Who the fuck is Ron Tan Cho?
RON TAN CHO
Underground crime boss, Asian ethnicity, 45-60 years of age. He does what he wants, takes what he wants & always gets what he wants. He has one wicked smile that if shown to you means trouble. He enjoys toying with his enemies & seeing the fear on their faces. D'Vorah attempts to attack him, and she fails due to his Goons apprehending her.
By far, the least detailed character of the casting call and more than likely no one of interest. Even "Salazar" (likely Erron Black) and Bo' Rai Cho are more detailed in their descriptions than that.

Thanks.
Sounds like a nobody. I doubt he'll even appear in the game.
People had doubts about Kung Jin appearing in the game, then lo and behold: the story trailer explicitly confirmed him.
Before that, there was Salazar, who may very well be Erron Black. My point being, that people should get the hint and realize that new characters from that TV series might end up in the game. Unlike the likes of Art Lean and Vorpax, these characters will be canon, whether they're in the game or not.
Back to Ron, my only problem with him being in the game is that I feel the creepy smile thing should have been Hsu Hao's, but I know that Hsu Hao's brief appearance in the comics was a miracle in itself, anyway. If we do get Ron, I'm curious as to what moves he'd get. Kung Jin was pleasantly surprising.
Personally, I don't think a relation to Bo Rai Cho is necessary, but if Ron was indeed related to him, then I'd like to know how he ended up as an EarthRealm crime boss.

I think the family name is Bo, so they are not related.
