I actually miss this feature that was added in MK3... I actually liked when you uppercut your opponent into a brand new stage.

Of course, for some unlikely reason, this might not get feature, but, whatever. Point is, this feature should return. It's not a huge important one, but it was a cool feature. Uppercut your opponent from the Subway to the streets. From the Bank to the Rooftop, from Scorpion's Lair to Shao Kahn's Lair...

Also... where the fuck did TOASTY go? I haven't heard that in a while, unless I'm that deaf and absolutely did not pay attention whatsoever... but I haven't heard it when you do an uppercut or a cool pop-up move.

Thing is, these minor features are being shut out. Should they return or just stay within the games they were previously featured in?

I feel that both features should return and here's why:

Upper cut to next level- this feature at that time period was fresh (the 1st fighter to do it i believe) and very effective in a 2D environment. In a 3D environment this feature can go to whole new level with fighters not only landing in other stages through ceilings, but also walls, floors (depending on impact u can send ya opponent crashing through the ground) and even portals (if certain stages had portals). The possibilities with this feature is endless.

"Toasty"aka Dan Forden- As a huge mk fan, I believe that this feature is essential and one of the features that's been missing frm past games. Dan Forden would definitely bring back that classic feel we all love. Without a doubt.

It wouldn't be bad, if it was done right. When you would do that to an opponent in Mortal Kombat III, sometimes, I personally felt that the levels didn't flow. You know, they should have gone to another level (Like Scorpion's Lair should have gone else where). But, I also like how they've recently done it within stages (staying in the same stage). I'd like them to keep that. But if they can stack the arenas on top of each other in a logical fashion, it may be interesting to see it.

And I miss Dan's "Toasty" as well. I think the last time it was in a Mortal Kombat game was Deadly Alliance, during test your might? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Nah, you're right about the "Toasty" thing. I remember hearing it from Test Your Might now that you mentioned it.
