Tremor
A lot of people have been wanting old MK characters like Rain and Sheeva to return. Then I remembered Tremor, What if they remodeled him completely, and give him a decent story. I think that would be fresh, He would be a decent character, imo he is cooler than rain.

Tremor was a member of the Black Dragon. He basically looked like a brown version of Scorpion and some said (or at least speculated) that he was once a Lin Kuei warrior. I never paid much attention to MKSF's storyline. That's the game he was in, btw.

I think Special Forces as a whole needs to be retconned, to be honest. It needs to be taken back to the development stage and made completely anew. Despite how terrible it was though, it did inspire me a heck of a lot, and it makes me wish that I could get a job with Midway, designing the storyline for a remake of it. Then again, I've got so many ideas, I wish that about every game in general.
I think Tremor has great potential, certainly, but I think they should remove him from the ninja mould completely and make him a character of his own. Tasia might be interesting though, if they did her properly, and made a decent extrapolation on her character. All-in-all though, I think there might be enough Black Dragon members in the roster as it is, without more being introduced, plus with Kabal reforming a new BD, there's no real opening for old members. I doubt Kabal would ally with them.
I would prefer to see some new, better, Red Dragon members. Mavado and Hsu Hao were okay, but not nearly good enough for a group that was supposedly better than the Black Dragon, who have a completely awesome line-up.

Judging from how absolutely awful that game was, I doubt most even acknowledge its existence, let alone believe it needs to be ret-conned. For that matter, why does it need to be ret-conned? What bearing does it have on the franchise whatsoever? Other than being its low-point?

I think rather than openly retconned, that MKSF was just quietly airbrushed out of the MK timeline. It was a poor fit anyway (hard to tell whether it was meant to be pre MK1 or between MK2 and MK3), and the fact that it was such a disaster meant no one really cares that it has never been referred to or mentioned in MK ever since.
As for Tremor, no. Why do we need another boring ninja anyway? Leave him and the other MKSF exclusive characters to rot.

I'd say it's pretty obvious one of the handfull of generic Black Dragon characters in Shaolin Monks was based around Tremor.
Despite his boring ninja-style look, I actually liked Tremor.
I've been interested in seeing he, and No Face return in some capacity. I thought they were fun, and more interesting than the woman, and even Jarek.

Bumped in protest of the removal of the recent Tremor thread. Not cool.

It was moved. Don't jump to conclusions.
