I don't like Goro, so I am waiting it out until it releases, so I don't have him on my roster on MY copy.

I like Goro but for one thing i think its dumb they think ppl will pre order without seeing him in gameplay first, and honesy ill just buy him dlc if i want him..... Ill most likely will get him no matter what cuz i do like him and wouldnt mind playing him casually at least, but im not gonna be that into him unless he is balanced. If he isnt balanced just like every other time hes playable, then yeah besides for rare casual play, imma not care about him then.... But we dont know yet if he will be balanced or just overpowered so ill reserve final judgement for now.... Goro is a top 20 char to me too though....

Just be happy and accept Goro. At least he is a MK based character and an original. I'd take him over any guest character, any day. I pre-ordered the game and can't wait to use the big brute.

I know people like that and I'm the same way sometimes. On disc dlc is the worst thing to come out of last gen. I'm too much of a fan to skip mk over something so dumb though, other people aren't. Oh well, their loss. I just hope there isn't different preorders for different stores. That was stupid.

Thing is, the code to download him is probably included in ALL first print copies of the game...So you'll most likely get him even if you don't pre-order. Happens with most games at least.

Pre-order bonuses don't really bother me, unless it's something just completely outrageous.

I think the real issue here is that companies are announcing pre-order bonuses and season pass content 3-4 months before a game actually releases. I mean all companies want to hype up their game and they want people to buy it, but when a company starts throwing out all this content and the game isn't even finished, it makes people hesitant to buy it.

How can you not like Goro? Sheeva eh, but goro is the original badass. Way before shao kahn was pissing me off it was goro who was taking my life bar. Goro > Kintaro > Sheeva. Js.

Here's how I see a preorder bonus. Just a little something extra for no additional cost on a game I was going to buy anyway.

To me:

Kintaro > every other boss in MK. Sheeva don't really count, since she wasn't a boss to begin with.

Since I don't care about the story, I can care less about Goro. He was actually the Easiest boss to beat over any other bosses in MK for me. I beat him the first day without much trouble, playing cheap.
