I hated Injustice, Hope I am wrong though.

I looked at Injustice as NRS' testing ground. They experimented, found out what worked, what didn't, and i believe MKX will inevitably benefit.
Aside from that, everyone that has played it, has said it is still very much Mortal Kombat.

One of Takeda's variations kind of reminds me of Lobo's chains as well.
Anyway I definitely see some Injustice influence in MKX, I don't think its a copy but I see some things that seem a little Injusticy lol
I enjoyed Injustice a lot though so im cool with it

A lot of characters have taken moves from injustice, Takeda took a little from Lobo, Reptile took The Flash and Solomon Grundy moves, Ermac now floats, Sonya has Batman`s parry.
But aside from what I said above, It looks quite different, there aren`t many stage interactives, the graphics look much better, the characters aren`t has slow has the Injustice ones. The list could go on.
I also didn`t like Injustice much, hope they don`t do a sequel.

I don't know what you're on about.
-Injustice didn't have 3 variations.
-Injustice had Low,Medium and High attacks, in addition to those there was the trait for each character.
-Injustice had stage transitions.
-Injustice didn't have unique intros.
-Injustice doesn't even have the same feel of gameplay as MKX does.
They are two entirely different games, there are inspirations but nothing to make them the same.
Obviously Kung Jin was inspired by Green Arrow but he has unique things to make him different.
just like this game has enough unique things to make it different from injustice.

This is why I'm glad I didn't get into Injustice too much.
Doing these comparison charts...no bueno.
I'm thankful for the benefits of their experimentation like model sizes, but ultimately glad MK9 will be my comparison when need be. How can I lose?

I indeed see some similarities but enough to call it a copy.

I'll be one of them. I mean, wasn't that always the case when making a run towards the AI in MK3-T? I'm stoked about the run making a return though. Its just been so long, that it's gonna take some adjusting.

Injustice took from MK9
MKX will take from Injustice
Injustice 2 will take from MKX
They are in the same game maker and they learn from what they did well and what needs improvement.
I say WELL DONE for the stylistic ways they have improved on what they had already done on Injustice.

MK3 A.I....*shivers*
Its an interesting implementation for sure. Its the last mechanic I expected to see return, and the least I've seen used. Maybe a run button would've been more suitable? Eh, what do I know? Game isn't even out yet. Can't wait to experiment with it in the lab.

Not going to lie. I'm wishing erron black has a Harley Quinn variation. Mk x did learn from injustice but it's still mk.

Exactly. It has some elements from that game that actually worked and innovated the way that flows a fighting game. But the feel of the game is pure MK, injustice transcitions to combos and jump mechanics are totally diferent. even the interactibles have diferent properties here in MKX.
So when you guys actually play the game, You will notice that the gameplay mechanics are no the same as injustice, it will actually feel more like MK9 but with better and smooth transitions betwen combos and animations.

Yeah, the majority I've seen don't really have much space to close during juggles. Except maybe D'Vorah or Takeda.
I just can't fucking wait to see Jason and Goro run.

It looks too damn like injustice and im afraid it plays just as worse. Not want to be negative but injustice didnt do good for many reasons. I hope this is mk and not injustice with mk characters...
I wish injustice was never made.

I believe Injustice did well. It seems to me like they picked up the things from Injustice that they could blend in with MK. Like Kung Jin is similar to Green Arrow in that they both add modifiers to their arrows, but aside from the fire one, Jin's are tweaked for his style. Injustice itself had some of MK9 peppered in as well.

There is no wall bounce in mk. Also injustice did fine.

welcome to the WB/DC era of MK.
Believe me I'm not happy with it, character designs have gotten softer ect...
but they've done more good than bad so I can't complain. Without WB they probably wouldn't have the funding to do half the shit they do now.

Yeah but the stage interactables in mkx work great for this game. Alot of stuff to reposition urself n hitting ppl with a branch or pole to the face is genius. Its not really silly stuff like injustice. It def feels like an MK game in a much better way. Everyone who has played it says it def felt like a much smoother MK game

Hell, without WB, I highly doubt we'd even still have ANY kind of MK to enjoy.
Money rakin' n' takin' machines...but they kept this treasure alive. So yeah.

Pretty much this. We actually have competent fighting mechanics now, something the Midway games have always well fell short on.

I personally think that they did a great job at separating the two games considering that they are the SAME DEVELOPERS for both.
