I would much rather see a remake of the older games than a new one any time soon. It seems like the MK story is kind of falling apart, though I still like all the games in their own ways. Here's my idea......->->->->


MK1:Now, if they did this and made it exactly like Deception or Deadly Alliance, I would be pissed, but it would be in 3d of course. For the remake, they should re-do their whole fighting system and make it as close to the classic as possible. Sure, the fighting styles are good and all, but I could do without them. The arenas wouldn't be all weird like the big square platforms you fought on in Deception (like the Dead Pool and the Pit), but would be just like they are in Shaolin Monks. However, this dosen't mean knocking your opponent off would be easy. See, if you were hit close to an edge, the player could fall and catch themselves, and repeatedly hitting a button would allow them to climb back up.
Fatalities would be the same, only one per person, maybe two but no more. No brutalities or animalities or babalities. (Those would be for the Mk2 and 3 remakes) All characters would also be wearing their original costumes, meaning you would see Liu Kang in nothing but black pants, and Scorpion would have a normal robe with no black lines all through it.



Anyway, this is just kinda what I think they could do and not screw it up. If they made the first one good, then they could use that same sysytem and produce 2 and 3 shortly after. The main purpose of this would be to rethink everything and give the exact story, rather than releasing a game and saying, "Oh yeah, by the way, everything you just did was completely false) *cough....Konquest....cough....*
