Yeah the Well was definatly my fav level in mk 4, i liked how it zoomed in before the round start and the background music. Though, those were some huge noggins laying on the ground

I loved that stage. It'd be nice to see it back along with all the others from MK4. They were all awesome stages. I loved the Elder Gods stage with the faces around the arena. I thought that one was very cool.

It was kinda cool IMO. I wouldn't mind if it would come back.

Yeah I loved the Elder God's stage as well. I think that that stage would be bad ass if it would make a return in the better graphics we have now days.

I honestly don’t see whats so good about this arena.

I love the art pic in your profile, looks awesome, but the final result of that concept in the game isn’t really that interesting or cool. While it has a dark feel, its just...empty, too simple IMO.

I guess the arena could return but it must be greatly improved. Not to mention cleaned, lol, so many skulls lying around looks kind of silly, specially considering the fact that they all look the same and are enormous.

Yeah I can understand what you mean Queve. I really just like the concept in my sig to be honest because it does have a more eerie feel to it. I love that a lot better and I think if they made it look like they did in the concept in my sig it would be cooler.

Boon and his team should have no excuses for leaving out detail. Developers have now understood how to use the full potential of current generation consoles (guessing its going to be released on xbox, ps2 etc)

As for the well, it definitely has potential, As long as the levels are all different and all impact fights in different ways then ill be happy.

for example DOA4 is awesome in that the levels are all major factors in who wins and loses.

I would love to see a return for the arenas that play some part in the game. Like in MK1 they had the courtyard, the Warrior Shrine, Shang Tsung's Palace and Goro's Lair, where all the action was really taking place, and they all linked the story and such.

Same with Deadly Alliance, although the arenas you fought in made no sense in Arcade mode because they were random up to Goro's Lair, they were still really nice, and fit the plot as well. The Dragonfly, the Lin Kuei's new temple, the Drum arena, stuff like that. If only they hadn't used so much blue

I was kinda disappointed by MKD, because although it was great seeing all those old school arenas rendered in 3D, they didn't help the story progress in the slightest.

If they could find a decent enough reason to include the Well, and explained that it was a place where some real horrific atrocities occured, and then used the power of the 2nd Gen consoles to render up some really nice atmosphere in it, then it could be an utterly frightful arena. Especially if it was dead silence except for the sound of dripping blood, and every now and then you'd just hear this rending scream from somewhere off in the distance. Like, really fearful and in pain kinda thing. I would like to see it if they could write it in properly.
