I wouldn't be surprised if we just haven't seen Kung Lao's yet either.

Im guessing it will show some characters escaping the Netherrealm and others being stuck there, still in Quan Chi's/Shinnok's control.. as a way to save people for the next game..

The one thing I am surprised about though... Jade.. Why JADE, out of all characters, would NRS say is dead.. dead and done.. and not a Revenant? I'm guessing there is going to be more to it... And it will have something to do with Jade's ending in MK9

People are being kinda mean cus she is out.

The fact that she is the only one who won't even appear as a revenant is pretty sad. Like how hard could it be to place her in as a npc, even if just standing there?

I mean i'm fine with her missing a game but eh always nice to see your fav at the very least mentioned.

Honestly, Stryker, Kabal, Smoke and Sindel share the same fate : NPCs.

I think that Cassie Cage and the other will find a way to save Jax (due to Jacqui involvement), Kung Lao (Kung Jin) and Kitana (for political reasons). Sub-Zero will be saved just for popularity.

Jade actually lost an organ. She wasn't fought by Raiden either despite being shown. I wonder if Kung Lao and Sub-Zero has revenant outfits like Jax and Kitana?

Pretty sure Sub's primary is his revenant costume.

I believe most, if not all of them, will be available to play against during story mode.

I think only SOME of the revenants are resurrected at the start.

Jax, Kitana, Kung Lao, and Sub-Zero.

Kabal, Stryker, Jade, Smoke, Nightwolf, etc won't be resurrected until later on, and that's why Kitana is still mourning, because Jade is still "dead".

Nobody in this series stays dead for good. We should all know that by now.

Tanya's not involved in any capacity. Why would she be a revenant?

Hope they can save the revanants before Ashrah starts her demon slaying with that magig Kriss...

Maybe it is the Kamidogu for the Realm of Vaeturnus...

Well, Scorpion did voluntarily become a spectre while Jade is unwilling. Curiosity strikes though when you think back to that mystery lady in her ending. Sub-Zero does sound a bit off with his mask though as opposed to his alternate maskless appearance and it looks kind of Netherrealm-y. Hopefully we'll know soon. No Quarrel may just get his Buzz Saw variation as a revenant. Revenant Jax certainly seems very different from the other, more normal appearance he has been seem in.

Calling it now, there will either be a revenant mode (like Injustice Zombie mode) or a revenant skin pack for the characters who died in MK9 and make a playable return in MK9.

More than 3 variations maybe?
Seperated into Era characters like the last bunch of DBZ games(Early Mid Late Goku, Piccolo, etc)?

Maybe she killed revenant Jade permanently... without Quan Chi's permission... lol

Afterall... Jade was a saboteur, trying to ruin Tanya's plans.

I wish Tanya was somehow involved with the flawless MKX game.

She'll most definitely be DLC. She was highly requested.

Jade and Tanya had a rivalry in Deception.

In the original timeline Tanya showed up as the daughter of an Edenian embassador who let Shinnok and his army enter Edenia as fake refugees. It's not clear if Edenia was unmerged from Outworld following MK3 like it was originally and it's also unclear if Shinnok will need help to escape the Netherrealm again.

I know you wish for Tanya, but they way the storyline is shaping up, she hasn't done anything yet.

Obviously we'll free Kitana & Jax from Quan Chi's control early on in Story Mode

Dlc will not be story related. Who cares if she has done nothing. Also tanya is possibly evil cus of something to do with the outworld merge or something. I forget. Anyways she should at least show up in some shape or form
