Anybody notice that when you pick Kotal Kahn and fight in his Courtyard, there is a faithful servant in the corner kneeling because of his presence when that same servant would usually be working on something? God that's awesome!

Sorry if this is old news btw. Are there any other little things throughout the game that you guys noticed and love? Post them here! (If there isn't already a thread like this of course):D

There a bunch of neat little things I randomly pick up on and likely more to come, but the one I noticed today was with Erron Black.

I don't remember if it was at the very start of a match or in between but I remember just barley noticing his hand, the one that stays next to his revolver on his waist, he actually starts flicking his fingers around like he is anxious to pull his gun, like a literal itchy trigger finger lol cool shit

Yeah I noticed that too! It's freakin awesome! It shows just how quick and savvy he is with them revolvers. Erron Black is too much of a badass! Nice one.

Okay. So, Johnny's walk-up animation is him pressing buttons on his phone. But if you choose his Ninja Mime alt, he walks up pressing buttons but there's no phone, because he's a mime.

Also, if you do Sub-Zero's Ice Bed fatality on Kano (him at left, you at right), the icecycle goes through his cybernetic eye without pushing out an eyeball.

Good catch! About to try all three. I didn't notice that bit with Johnny Cage.

I know there are more, I cant think of any from the top of my head right now.

Just now I was playing with Raiden and I lost to Kano. In Kano's victory post you can see the burns on his skin from the electricity. SICK.

The new battle damage are awesome. While trying out Takeda yesterday I noticed that Lasher exclusive move with the spinning whip left vertical slices all over my opponent.

I noticed really amazing specific battle damage. Bullet holes from guns, stab holes from, say, D'vorah or Mileena, slash marks from other character, burns from lasers and electricity, etc.

Even better when characters react to the environment and weather affects. They can get wet, muddy, sweaty, bloody, etc.

One other thing that really stands out to me is the overall improvement on body damage. I'm so glad to see that the excessive, over-the-top body damage from MK9 is gone. At the end of the fight, if your character took damage, they LOOK beat up...but they aren't missing entire portions of skin, or have 3/4 of their face sheared away to show a skull and bulging eye ball instead of a face, or just have huge chunks of flesh missing that would otherwise be in fatal locations...the damage looks like damage incurred over the course of the fight...not the post-mortem of a grenade explosion victim.

I never noticed kotal kahns thing, but that's quite boss! I love the emperors courtyard, that and krossroads are probably my favorite .. HES PRAYING FOR THE KAHNS MERCY!!wink
