The General Forum is a MESS!!!! I think its time for a MK7 Forum
There are so many interesting non-mk-related threads that are getting swallowed by other interesting Mk related threads.
Its kind of a mess. I would like to be in a place were I know I can post my opinions on Mk7 without mixing them with other threads related to more important things about life or just general fun facts.
I know many people that post in the General Discussion that dont even care about Mk anymore, and seeing so many repetitive threads about Mk7 must be irritating.
I really think we need a new forum for MK7. Maybe one that is called Discuss Future Mk games.
I think the mods should consider this. Its time for a Mk7 forum.

I agree that an MK7 board is needed. However, given that MKD hasn't even been released in the PAL regions yet, people won't really pay much attention to it. Everyone is still hyped on MKD to really care about MK7 at this point. to the few who do, I doubt the board will be that active.
I have many threads I'd like to post in the MK7 forum, which I am currently working on, but what's the point if so few will see them? I doubt the board would even be moderated and would be left open to spam.

I agree 100%! There NEEDS to be a MK7 forum. I have ideas that I would like to post, but wont cus I don't want them to be lost in the MKD forum, or post them here in the General - cus it isn't the right forum imo...
Does anyone even go in the Pocket Kombat forum? Scrap that (or join it with the Classics) and create a MK7 forum please!

I don't think it's a matter of needing a new forum, I think the issue is that people are fricking crazy and need to stop posting about MK7... Deception just came out last month!
and if you really feel the need to share what should be in MK7, you're obviously not satisfied with MKD, thus post it in the Deception board

NO ONE FLAME UREIKO!!!!
LOL.
Its my fault. I had typed we needed a SHAOLIN MONKS and MK7 forum because I didnt know we already HAD a Shaolin Monks forum.
He was correcting me, so, I edited my original post.
It was my mistake.
I disagree T. Just look at the many posts about Mk7, there are over 20! While I do agree with someone who said MKD just came out, people canÂt discuss about Mk7 in the MKD board without getting skulled or getting their thread closed.
The forum wouldnt be a place of spam, Im sure many will visit it as currently as they do any other forum.
And while many fans still dont have the game, most already do, and most already talk about Mk7, and their opinions and thoughts would be best accepted and heard in the correspondent forum then in the general discussion.
One note. I think just because people are posting about Mk7 is not ONLY because they are not satisfied. While there are some who were disappointed, there are many posting great theories and the future events of the characters, etc becaue they liked the game.

20 threads is not a lot. Even if the forum was there, It wouldn't see a lot of attention. The Shaolin Monks forum is hardly alive.
But given what you said about thoughts and theories, it might see more posts being made. I for one would be posting my own thoughts, ideas and theories in there. So bring on the MK7 forum!
I agree... however, perhaps it is too early to create a forum for a game that has not been officially announced.
To solve the problem, I suggest creating a "Future MK Games and Projects Discussion" forum. Things such as MK7, possible Mythology games, and MK Trilogy 2 can be discussed there. When MK7 is announced, then the game will be given its own forum. The "Future MK Games and Projects Discussion" forum would never be deleted or moved, as its purpose would always be to discuss future MK related games. When MK7 is released, the forum can then be used for MK8 and other games.

They're making MK Trilogy 2?
Well, didn't MKO once post news that MK7 was already in production? I remember, the news was out before Deception came out.

I simply used "MK Trilogy 2" as an example of a "future" project, as many threads are created regarding it. The forum I mentioned would be used as a place to discuss what fans want to see in the future of the series, not things that are confirmed to be.
As for MK7, yes, I do remember that report. However, at Fight Night the MK team stated MK7 wasn't really in production yet.

Thats exactly what I mean.
A forum like that would be great. It would hold every thread and post related to future Mk projects. This will keep them away from the general discussion.

I noticed that too, especially with the thread about the "champion" retiring

Damn n00bs migrating south for the winter...
There's a new member poll on the sidebar of the site, so vote and maybe things will change sometime soon.

Yes, that's what I voted for. Unfortunately more people are voting for an mk7 forum. I think a 'Future Projects' forum would generate many more threads, posts and replies than a sole MK7 forum...
-Edit- The % has changed from when I last looked, it's tied now.

Here's something messed up:
Savior's Halo 2 thread's last post was made by me at 11:50 pm last night.
Yet on General Discussion's main page, it says that the last post was made today at 11:11 am.
Wtf's up with that???

I also noticed that in other of my posts. The hour/minutes change for some odd reason.
The Pm system is working better now I would liek to add. Some PMs are still getting lost (I havent heard from TomTaz and Tgrant in a while) but other times they work normally.
I checked that most of the time I PM someone ONLINE it works...but others it doesnt, like with Libra and Wisdom.

Noobs migrating? I hope I'm not included in that! lol I've left the MKD board also!
I like Crows idea. The Future MK Projects board sounds great. I'd be happy if that were to appear instead of the MK7 forum.
And queve, I'm around. Just PM.
