I thought about this in the past before, but I'm still unsure becaus MK's story is in shams right now.

Futher what I mean is, alot of the powerful characters can't be gauged. There's not even a "Most Powerful" character anymore because of shit like "everybody having chi fire abilities".

I think we need some kind of synopsis of each character, their abilities, and their power potential before I'd wanna see the rath of an elder god.

It's too easy to challenge an elder god right now story wise too. I want an elder god to demolish even a colaboration of gods and semi gods, power wise ykow?


I'd also like to see the EarthRealm become the bad guys for a change. That I think would allow us to gauge why Elder Gods are even needed.

Think like, say EarthRealm tried to take over the OrderRealm for some odd reason or something. It says "Why do that" right?

that would turn a lot of fighters bad i would assume...becaue the only people that are in earthrealm are good guys. and if they turn bad, then what good guys are left really?

i mean sure you could blam raiden maybe for the start of something like that, but raiden isn't evil even though he's "dark raiden". raiden has jut become more complacent is all.

raiden doesn't wanna take anyone over, he actually (even though it's not canon but still it's a direct influence from how raiden is now, in his MK:A ending, he said "fuck you guys" and killed all the other places but earth. so raiden is still noble and all that good stuff. he just has ZERO tolerance now is all. so can't use raiden to explain a story line such as that. and he's really the only one powerful enough to do something like that and it worry people, ya know? the only other people powerful enough would be Shao Kahn, Shinnok, Shang Tsung, Onaga and Quan Chi ya know. that's why they've been huge threats before, and they are already evil so...that still wouldn't work out.

I "think", Raiden is aggressive enough to pro actively seek out threats to EarthRealm. Imaginate.......

As far as good people turning bad, well that could be taken care of with a simple threat from a god. "Do it or else!". Lol!

Yeah I do agree with Raiden being there to protect Earthrealm. But to be honest with you....I kinda liked this "Dark" Raiden. I thought it would be interesting if Raiden goes a tad darker, making him out of control. The Elder Gods would see this, and take things upon themselves, especially with Blaze destroyed and old-time villians scattering different realms. They would probably even want to fight Raiden, just for their sake of not being destroyed. IMO the Elder Gods have been seen and/or heard from alot in certain character endings. I always thought it would be interesting to see them interfere, causing more corruption upon the universe and themselves. Rather than sending Scorpion to do business, they should come out from the dark and actually show themselves and what they think of whats happening with reality. They should assume that gods like Raiden and Shinnok cannot be trusted anymore, thus they want to destroy them. Better yet....maybe the Elder Gods can help the good guys and slowly transform Raiden into a way better being again. But I always saw the Elders as Neutral since they don't really care about anything.....which is good IMO.

My only question then, is what's left after the elder gods if they are ever seen//ever do act out in any fasion?

This is probably the main reason I don't want to ever "see" them. But if they ever should act out, I would only except them demolishing alot and then have them digress very swiftly.

And I think the Dragon form elder gods might be a little hard to grasp. Just saying it has never really worked well. Believibility wise, I mean. I could except a humanoid form elder god with....just....emmense power. Spoken word should effect people and like semi gods alike I think.

With "main" characters having enough power to destroy Blaze and/or threaten The One Being to the point where the entire universe is in jeopardy, it shouldn't be a problem for the Elder Gods to get involved. The Elder Gods should be the ones to act next if anything, especially since a major power souce like Blaze is defeated. Like you said.....I doubt it would be anything big (atleast storywise), but just seeing the Elder Gods in action and causing destruction would be fun. Each God would have enough power to take an entire realm if at full power.


Maybe a pure dragon form would be a little off....since I can't really see how it would get off to fighting, but a humanoid one similar to Onaga would be sweet.
