Salazar bio could've been put in doubt if it was refering to Erron Black, but Kung Jin name thrown here totally legitimates that casting call.

Which means characters like Bo'Rai Cho and Kenshi got his chances up. Bo could still not be playable and only featured in the series to train Kung Jin or something, but Kenshi and Takeda are stated to work together on Johnny's squad (I think the 4 protagonists of the trailer will have a period of seasoning with the veterans before being their own squad), combined with Kenshi fatality tease and the fact Earthrealm needs heroes for the first story arc, Kenshi has almos both shoes in already.

I'm curious now about Ron Tan Cho, he will probably be just a background character but it looks like we might get a better view of how the underground clans work in MK universe, and probably how Erron knew about Kano to act as emmisary for Kotal Kahn.
