The Cassie Cage Thread

EDIT: I'm having so much fun with Cassie, I figured I'd just convert this to a general thread about her. Cassie is my unexpected love in this game. I thought I was going to hate her but she wound up being one of my absolute favorite characters in the game. So far I've encountered two things that sort of made me go "huh."

The first interesting thing came while fighting Goro. During the fight, I landed some kicks as Cassie yelled "Those were $500 shoes!" This can't be a coincidence, can it? This is a subtle jab at Cage in the first movie, right?

The second thing of interest to me is her ending. Seriously, her ending broke my heart. I was a fan of

Shujinko
and I always felt bad for him. So, would it be digging too much to say that

Onaga, or at least Damashi, is currently in play?
Or, perhaps in doing this, it foils the entire scheme, preventing his return from happening? Or it's noncanon and my ravings are pointless

I thought I wouldn't care for Cassie at all.
Now I think she's fucking awesome

He also tells Goro he owes him some sunglasses, too.
Scorpion appearing behind Johnny in the first cutscene too.

I agree, Cassie is really standing out this game. Not just because of the story either, I found her really easy to pick up and I strung high end combos in the 30%+ almost instantly without much practice. But I'm more so in love with her for one reason.
Whenever she wins a round.
I have no idea why, but I'm absolutely in love with her magazine reload or eject or whatever it is and stance whenever she wins. Cassie Cage ❤️

Cassie is my new favorite character, I love the girl. Her quotes during fights and pre fight intros make me laugh out loud

I love her "Get, get, get down" quote.
She was definitely a grower for me as well...step by step she made it in my top.

Her ending is ironic if you think of Shujinko as the next-generation Liu Kang when she herself is another canon victor just like the champion.

I just got her Selfie Fatality for the first time. I've held off from watching fatality vids so the act is a surprise. I laughed out loud at the posts, particularly Goro's after I performed the fatality on Goro

MKX is all about girl power.

You guys are extremely late as hell. Back in August or September of last year, I had predicted that Kassonya Jonathonya Carlton Blade Cage would save everyone.

Kassonya just owned everyone in all the realms.
Sonya's obsession with punching everyone in the face was a great and epik influence on her daughter.

Everyone is jealous of Kassie, the ultimate hero of Earthrealm. Everyone except Tanya, because Tanya punched her in storymode.

Needless to say, MKX is super flawless and epik. smile
