Subzero - Where is the Dragon Medallion!?

There is no question that with the latest trailer, we are all in Kombat overflow but I have come to wonder a few things about this Lin Kuei, Sektor/Cyrax/Smoke and the dragon medallion.

This medallion, in the old timeline, caused Subzero to age rather quickly if I remember correctly.

I see it not on his chest OR his waist. After 25 years (Cassie is all grown up), Subzero would be incredibly aged at this point if he had the dragon medallion. My inner Sektor fan wants to go on all kinds of offshoot theories but I honestly think he will find his demise in the comics before we even pick this up.

Theories on the medallion? Could the age effect be retconned out? Where is it and why? We see it in his "Grandmaster" variation so I am in a state of wonder.

He only uses it for his Grandmaster variation, that's how he avoids the aging effect by using it only when neccesary

No. The Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei Sektor's father has the Dragon Medallion.
Kuai Liang never has it in his possession at any point in MK9.

Seems to be the best solution, lol.

Although I hope the Dragon Medallion is with Sektor or Cyrax.

I have no idea why Cyrax would be with Sektor though, Unless he is still fully cyborg and not trying to regain his humanity.

But that would at least mean we'll get some Sektor action in the story :p.

P.S. He better be playable.

Perhaps the medallion is being held as collateral by someone (Quan Chi, Shinnok, Noob, Sektor ect.) so Sub would eliminate Cassie and friends?

Although I'm sure Noob and Sektor would prefer to just keep it for themselves regardless, so Quan or Shinnok seems more plausible.
