He is not the Dragon King. Many have read into that ending as being that Sub-Zero could be the dragon Kings heir or an ancestor. I see it as just a tribute to Onaga. The Tarkata were fighting for him, so with their last breathe they wish him good will. I don't think this ending should be read into any further than that. That's my opinion though.

Sub-Zero's armour was like Dimashi to Shujinko (only it doesn't deceive him). It speaks to him in every battle. That's because that armour was once worn by the ORIGINAL Dragon King (The one who died by Sindel in her ending). His soul is in that armour that Sub-Zero dons, but Sub-Zero is unaware of it. But he likes the Idea that other Lin Kuei warriors walk around calling him the living "Ice Dragon." Which is plain to see, because there is no other warrior alive that fights with the style (and savage strength) of a Dragon. A Dragon breathes fire, but Sub-Zero once said that "Nothing burns hotter than ice". Ever since then, he's been living by that phrase, turning every battle into cold reality. That battle with the Tarkata in his ending was no exception. Breaking limbs and crushing skulls was the Dragon's way to survive that many bladed freaks. That's why when one of them was dying, he mumbled "long live the dragon king." Because even the Dragon King that lives (which is Reptile), does not have the strength that Sub-Zero does. The Komidogu won't help him if he and Sub-Zero were to battle eachother one on one. Because Sub-Zero IS the real Dragon King.

that is why I ́m so interesting in the new MK. Their are so many questions and Sub-Zero is for me one of the most interesting

1. Why he could enter the Netherrealm although he is a good guy? I ́m sure that Noob ́s ending is non-cannon but I want to know why they show him in the Netherrealm?

2. What is it all about his new amour and his ending and which role Noob will play?

Um, no....Onaga's soul is in Reptile thus why Reptile was the vessel for the rebirth of Onaga. That saying Sub-Zero said (which I think you got wrong) is from DOTR and has no significance to his story anyway. And it's Kamidogu, not Komidogu. And actually, Onaga would have the advantage against Sub-Zero if he has the Kamidogu (which he does btw) since the Kamidogu endow him with god-like power.



1. Sub-Zero may be a good guy, but he and his older brother were raised to become Lin Kuei assassin warriors from childhood. In Mk3, he found himself joining the Earthrealm heroes against Shao Kahn's forces and eventually became one of the good guys.

2. The armor that Sub-Zero wears in MK Deception is the armor worn by his ancestors, who were from Outworld. Noob Saibot was once Sub-Zero's older brother, the original Sub-Zero. Scorpion killed older Sub in the first tournament and older Sub's soul went to the Netherrealm, free from compassion. I'm sure there's also possibility that Shinnok and Quan Chi had a big part in actually turning older Sub into Noob Saibot.

All wrong. The original armour or the Dragon King is the armour that puts Reptile/Onaga,not Sub-Zero. You can see that the skeleton of the Dragon King is like Onaga without the armour, because Onaga, instead of return to his original body, only puts his original armour.
