Since MK8 is gonna be a new generation, why not make a new sub-boss with only weapon styles? xmxvolt came up with that basis.

I think Noob Saibot would make a worthy sub-boss...the fight being a £D replica of your battle with him in UMK3. You shall fight in Noob Saibots Dorfen giving noob the advantage of that you can hardly see him with the black background. Also he shall retain his 200% health. Cheap-As-Hell

No. I don't want Noob Saibot as the sub boss again, he was the worst sub boss of all time. Goro, Kintaro, Moloch, Montaro are all great sub bosses that I would like to see in a future MK game again. For MK8 though, I wouldn't mind seeing a new sub boss.

The sub-boss should be a new character, although there is one possibility I've recently been toying with, and that is Shao Kahn being the sub-boss. In Shang Tsung's ending, Shao Kahn became a centaur slave, and while most endings will not come to pass, I cannot help but somewhat entertain the idea of Shao Kahn ending up as a centaur somehow, and serving as the new villain's sub-boss. It passes the torch, in a way, as Kahn has always been the final fight. It would make the new villain appear more important.

I had a dream that the man encasted in flames on the Outworld Bridge in the background of Pit 2 in MKII would become a sub boss.

Then to my suprise, Blaze appeared in Deadly Alliegence THEN again in Deception, not being a sub boss for either Then returned in Armageddon as a huge final boss, and not that impressive as i'ld like him to be.

Point is, in his toned down form he never fought as a sub-boss, my dream didn't come true, this upsets me. MAKE IT HAPPEN MIDWAY!! lmao (Even if it is too late, and make him really strong due to an array of lava and flame attacks)

I'd rather just have new sub-bosses in the future MK games. Goro, Kintaro, Motaro, and Moloch should die, imo.

I want a sub-boss whose fast and not easy to attack. I want someone whose harder.

but have it to where they don't keep doing the same fucking move all over again. Blaze, come on, five times he performed that damn rolling move and locking me into a corner. (i know he's a boss, but i don't care i'm giving an example) those sub-bosses could do something like that... i hate cheap ass characters.

I mean totally redo Blaze. So he isn't cheap but he is fast and very tricky, have him in the toned down form.

look at mkd, noob-smoke diddnt feel like a subboss unless you were on hard.

i say if its a small character, its gotta be a powerful one, but it cant be easy to use if its so powerful

Sektor: leader of the tekunin, he can be beefed up with all kinds of powers, id rather see him stay on low profile cuz hes my little character i stick in my back pocket but meh.

Raiden: this is one guy who can deffinately be pissed off, he sais "Listen here A** munches, your gonna fight or im gonna kill you". raiden owns, liked hime from mkda on.

Shinnok: the persuit of power, maybe he will play a huge role in mk8

i would rather see multiple sub bosses in mk8, not chosen at random, but by the character, the nemesis of that character would be the sub boss.

i think that it is a great idea 2 have different sub-bosses for different characters coz it wud b different n you wnt b able 2 figure a way 2 beat them coz it wud b some 1 different. lyk in MKDA. it took me 2 go's 2 figure out how 2 defeat moloch so nw i jst use kung loa 2 beat him. it aint hard 2 beat some1 if you know hw. there should b different sub-bosses per person. great idea.

sub-boss should be Motaro...with FOUR (4) legs!!!, He should be bigger than what he was in 3, and he should be able to pick up weapons, like a spear, and kill you wit it... He should be like, a super-hard sub-boss, that totally scare the player, and everytime he'd beat you, he should perfomr some kind of brutal finishinr move, like throwins a spear at you and impaling you to a wall, or he'd grab your face with his hand, and crushes it, and as the head pops, it'd be like MOTARO WINS!!! and like this huge croud all around is all cheering, like in a coliseum or something!
*He should not be playable in any way, cause that takes away his specialness...
and when you'd finally beat him, there should be like a mini-game, where you have to make this insane combination...first, you'd chop of his frontal legs w/ a huge sword, then he'd reach for you, but your character is soo pissed (because he was so damn hard) that (after entering the combination)he grabs both his arms back and twists them to a point where they break...Motaro screams in pain, then you grab his head, and you'd have to tap the square button in order to rip off his head, and finish the deal...like how you kill Kintaro in MKSM, but you'd have control over the entire sequence....phew...i just pictured the whole thing right now...

they should have so that when u get to the sub bosses it should be shang tsung goro kintaro motoro shao kahn and new boss all together and then when u finish them u should b able to do a fatality or they can do 1 2 u

Noob should NEVER be a sub boss ever again....ever! I agree with Sub Frost on this one except fora few things, the other sub bosses should stay but not be sub bosses though. They just need to be toned down a bit :). Other than that, for once,let there be a female sub boss. As long as its a new character though.

Speaking of female sub-bosses, I cannot believe Sheeva wasn't even one of the random sub-bosses in Armageddon, shes a freekin Shokan for crying out loud Midway lol.

Still I think the sub-boss should be linked somehow to the main boss, not to have them totally unrelated. Although I do think the idea of different characters having certain sub bosses like Tekken is pretty cool, konquest within the main arcade mode.

I mean if Onaga is boss then have Hotaru as a sub boss, or if Raiden is the boss have Zombie Liu as the sub boss or whatever.

i think it's time for a new sub-boss character i think Kintaro Motaro and Goro played thier role as bosses in the mk2 and three sagas i think tis' time to give someone else a chanse and noob was a sub-boss in Decepetion along with Smoke coem on peole you gots t obe realistic here with this guy of topic.

I like the idea of different sub-bosses for different characters. That would make the game feel less generic and more story driven. And I think the sub-boss should be someone new, certainly not anyone like Shang Tsung, Shao Khan, Goro, Kintaro, or Motaro. I mean, how many times have we seen the same bosses and sub-bosses?

We need a change. For example the Dragon King was a brand new boss in MKD and I thought he was great. He was original, had a good background story to fit him in the MK universe, and I really liked it how they fit the Kamidogu from his storyline into the actual fight.

I think sub-bosses should change with whatever character you are playing with.

yeah that is a great idea! how about if you'r Sektor...the sub-boss is Cyrax,and the boss is Sub-Zero?
