if ashra's ending is cannon, maybe she could pull smoke out of the neather-realm as she herself is being lifted out, and she hands him off to sub-zero, who repairs him and restores his free-will, and the two go after the one-being with ashra at their side.

good idea or grabage?

I don't mind the idea of Smoke being fixed, or of her helping him, just the actual physical act itself sounds kinda hokey. It's like an Arnold movie or a Nike commercial. She's floating past, and in slow motion, she grabs onto him, and tuck and rolls through the air out of the Netherealm. Hehe...

Ashrah and Smoke have potential.

Smoke will obviously be free from Noob for the next game, but the idea of HIM working with Ashrah...well, might be good....might be garbage.

I just don think they have to be involved at all, Ashrah has more potential alone then involved deeply with an ally IMO.
