Stage Fatalities for the next game

They did a pretty good job with the stage fatalities in this game, in my opinion the Hell and the God of War stage fatalities were brilliantly done because they had a real cinematic aspect to them.

Ever since MK2 I've wanted to see a truly massive pitfall stage fatality (not even gonna touch on that HORRIBLE deathtrap in Raidens tower in Deception), I ALMOST got it in this game in the GOD stage... where u can see how enormous the fall is... but the actual death devices kinda stomped it.

What I really REALLY have been wanting to see for a long time is something like what you see in Sonyas/Jareks/Jax's ending in MK4... and kinda how i mentioned in the GOW stage in MK9. Just grabbing someone by the neck, hang them over a massive fall, and then just watch them precipitate towards their inevitable death. The key being the cinematic depiction of the fatality to trully capture the enormity of the fall. And then u dont need spikes or lava or anything, the fall itself is in its own way so brutal its enough, much like the Pit2... a LOT of ppl loved it because how cool it was done, how the camera changed to follow he loser falling and how realistic the crash was. None of that exploding bodyparts bullshit from the tower.

I've been dying to see something like this for AGES!!! BOON GIVE IT TO ME! hahaha

anyone have any ideas they have for future stage fatalities in the next game?

I wanted the Rooftop stage to have a good old fashioned fall and splatter among the pavement fatality. It's what I always think every time I see a rooftop stage in a game. Blame Killer Instinct for that. And blame Pit 2 as well and yeah they shouldn't splatter to a million pieces like in Deception.

I, too, would really like to see a stage fatality that has a semi-realistic drop onto a flat surface, from a very high point. Some sick cracking noises will suffice for cringe factor. Also, if the fall were from great enough height, organs could rupture out, or even just that splat of blood like the MK2 fatality. (:-o

Eventually, I'd like to see a stage fatality where the loser gets ground-up/ cut-up feet-first. How the hell those guys could scream while being knocked into the spinning crushers, face-first, in the Lower Mines is beyond me.

That's all I got. Good thread, though.

As I've mentioned in a previous thread, I'd like to see a stage fatality for the rooftop stage, but it turns out the stage is just a soundstage, so you drag your opponent a few steps towards the background and smash their face off what initially appears to be an invisible wall. a second smash causes some of the screen to tear away, revealing brick. You just continue to smash their face into the brick until it caves in.

If the team is gonna bring back a klassik stage gee i dunno say the bell tower?..........BRING BACK THE FUCKING STAGE FATALITY TOO! YA BABOON LOOKING BASTUD!! LMFAO! I just realized you cant spell baboon without Boon!
