Stage Brutalities or Pits...which do you prefer?

So I know we've seen or have heard of the Dead Woods stage brutality but do you prefer using interactibles to kill your opponent on an arena or sending them into a part of it to die? For me I still like the pits. The Pit II from the old MKII is still my favorite. Call me old fashion but so far I don't like the Stage Brutalities. They appear to be harder to pull off than pits were.

I prefer the pits but it was hella satisfying when I pulled of the Dead Woods Brutality.

Pits. They are a staple of the MK series and it's completely stupid that they aren't in. As far as I know only the Dead Woods is a brutality, and brutality requirements are so absurd that I don't even want to imagine what the requirements are for other possible stage brutalities. Don't know why they couldn't just have it so that a Brutality triggers if you weave a special move into a combo rather than this "Duck 5 times, block once, jump 10 times, use 4 fireballs, have less than 20% health, use 4 stage interactables, pause the game once, do 5 runs, and use no blocking within one round in less than 25 seconds" bullshit. I was happy about Brutalities when they were announced but seeing the requirements for them...it's one of the dumbest things I've seen implemented into MK...yes, even Kombat Kart.
