Displacer Raiden: It's MK9 Raiden with an upgrade.

Covert Ops Sonya: It's MK9 Sonya with upgrades, sure she lost the EX Kartweel, but the parry can replace that, could be very powerfull in the right hands. The Leg Grab could be usefull again, and you can now start a combo from the dive kick, her Ring Blast also has armor now.

Tempest Kung Lao looks very good as well.

expecting Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Reptile, Takeda and Kung Jin to be right at the top. Maybe Raiden too.

Takeda and Kung Jin look to be the strongest newcomers. Crazy ammount of tools and combo potential.

The others got a better moveset and more options than they had in MK9.

Unless they nerfed Raiden, I know for a fact he's better than he was in MK9. I was doing crazy damaging combos with him back when I got to play a demo of it (the quan chi demo). Master of storms and thunder god aren't anything special. Displacer however was crazy good and had some really awesome looking combos.

Kenshi, mileena and Kitana got nerfed compared to MK9.

Mileena and Kitana nerfed? Mileena looks much better, don't know about Kitana but she looks the same.

eh I predict Kung Lao will still be ridiculous in this game, and Kano will still be shit. We'll see.

Goro is definitely in top 5. He look's safe on a lot of whiffs with a lot of Armor on his EX's. Not to mention his Reach. Yea top 5 easily.

mileena lacks the ability to ground bounce as much as she did in mk9. Plus her roll doesn't knock up again if you hit an ex after the normal one.

Kitana's fans don't work like they did in mk9. You only get to hit one in the air that allows to continue the combo. The 2nd one end the juggle
