And how would it be worse than best friends (Liu Kang and Kung Lao, Sub-Zero and Smoke, Jade and Kitana) or lovers (Liu Kang and Kitana) killing one another anyway? Then there's the fact that Sindel and Kitana have been maiming one another for a long time. It even canonically happened (though Sindel wasn't exactly herself). Really, people are looking at a controversy that won't happen. Even if it did, there'd be much more outrage if there were exposed breasts or genitalia, or the fuck word expressed loudly.

I do not understand why people take what Ed Boon writes on Twitter as gospel. For example did not Ed Boon spelled out "HOTWIRE" not long ago? What did that even mean? Does anyone know? Twitter for the most part is garbage especially when Boon does not answer any legitimate questions, quite rightly as well. I mean in this interview Ed Boon clearly states that it is Mortal Kombat and to "screw it, we'll put it in anyway" about Cassie doing a fatality on her parents.

EDIT: Boon definitely is a troll but some information can be speculated on. He is a human after all and his tweets in some capacity are a window into what he is thinking. And him being the creative director of MKX for the most part has MKX on his mind ALOT.
