It was mentioned in her MK3/Trilogy bio. After being resurrected by Shinnok was either granted or gained the ability to read Kitana's thoughts.

I am guessing this ability has been ret-conned, since every time after that there has been less than no mention of it. I say less than no mention, because she could have used it to great effect in MKG and MKD, but didn't. My guess is she doesn't have it anymore, but I don't think its a particularly interesting angle. I prefer the one she has got going on at the moment, personally.

I agree. I always thought that gift was something with huge potential and very interesting. Reading Kitanas thoughts would give her so much power, she could destroy her plans and trick the forces of light.

I hope they go there again, that was very interesting.
