While it's indeed the guy who leaked the roster, confirming Fujin and Baraka while unconfirming Alien is about the safest "leak" you could do.

The guy seems pretty legit. I took some time to look back into a lot of his posts. He did scoop the KP roster pretty early.

It's hard to take things like this at face value, but it doesn't mean they are BSing you. Case in point? I used to work at a certain game company. Let's just say it's one of the most popular american game developers in the world. There were quite a few times where we would be allowed to preview upcoming projects.

When I told people back in 2012 that an expansion pack would come out around 2015/2016 involving one of the major enemy factions making a long-awaited return, people told me I was full of shit.

World of Warcraft: Legion was announced a few weeks ago. 'Nuff said.

If what this guy is saying is true, it's pretty exciting.

Baraka though? He could've just been in the game, they didn't need to kill him via cutscene then stick him in as DLC.

Baraka's death was important. A veteran, Mileena's last ally, gets killed brutally. It signified the start of the uprising and the changing of the guards.

Please don't get my hopes up like that man he didn't mention Baraka being in, just Fujin.

Listen... I'm not claiming anything 100% but within my circles has been information that has proven relatively reliable going back to MKD. I can only think of one time that a solid "this is going to happen" was wrong and that was within Injustice.

That being said, I am repeatedly hearing a name over and over. A character on none of these "leaked" lists or any of these predictions.

I've been told the Story Mode will feature quite a few "surprises," one of the surprises will be non-roster fightable characters (Baraka being one of them) like how you could fight Deadly Alliance characters in Deception's Konquest mode. These may determine which characters we get as DLC."

But he never spefically said Baraka would be in like he did with Fujin.

Don't get me wrong I am dangerously close to being hype for Baraka but I need a hard confirmation from the guy before getting even a little bit excited.

Uh yeah most of the characters that will end up as DLC should've been in the default game from the start- Tanya, Baraka, Rain (all three you even fucking fight TWICE), Fujin, Li Mei ect.

That way they could've had room for some REAL juicy names for DLC.

Interesting. I would love it if you would name this character but if not it's cool.

Also interested about the gfaqs thing, Tanya and Tremor would be pretty damn hard to guess and that was posted in March. Alien being a decoy makes me happy as hell, I hope he's right man

I actually remember reading that thread back then, and then completly dismissed the list when I saw Tanya and Tremor's names...A few weeks later we got the Kombat pack trailer lol.

As long as Fujjn makes it that's all that matters. If R. Mika can be in SF5, Fujin can be in MKX.

Just thought I'd pop in and say that I'm the one who posted that original roster and DLC content on the site he sourced. I got my original info a month or so before the games release from someone who knows one of the testers. And that is not me on GameFAQS. I don't know any particulars on future DLC aside from the fact we're getting more stuff. I'm not a user there. The guy's a fake.

My brain hurts. If only Ed Boon weren't such an asshole.
