Im going with fujin. Several tweets and the deleted one ed was ignoring him for months and now is showing him immense attention. Also look at boot 6 then look at fujin in the comic. The white thing behind the boot is clearly his hair its curved and pointy at the end. But i could be wrong it could end up being reptile, kenshi, sonya or anyone. Your thoughts.

Personally because Boon's said we're getting story details soon as well- I'm thinking we could get two reveals but only one will be from the boot pic.

That shows no correlation to getting revealed whatsoever. Almost everyone has been hinted before at least once. sum characters like kane and kung lao weren't hinted at all before revealed.

If the story trailer's going to come out next week, I hope we get a glimpse of some currently unrevealed characters. Fujin's popular, and I for one really want him to be in the game, but I doubt he's popular enough to warrant a dedicated trailer.

If there are more new characters I'd like to see them. It will probably be another returning vet...seems Fujin is a popular choice and I can't argue. Deep down I'm hoping for a DA/Deception era character...

If you are basing it off boot 6 for the reveal, it'll be either one of these:

Fujin
Shinnok
Hotaru
Johnny Cage (Seido)
New Character

If just a random character in general, not based off boot 6:

Fujin (can't leave him out)
Reptile

Bo Rai Cho
New Character
Nightwolf

Kano & Kung Lao were hinted at though; the Terminator & Commando & Arnie tweets were all about Kano & his variations. Kung Lao was hinted at by Boon posting the same "Girl Lao" cosplay pic. wink

I think it's either going to be a live stream with some new comic characters or a character that a lot people really want. Not a niche crowd but like a reptile level. You never know with boon though, by "fun" he could just mean throwing a curveball out of left field to troll.

Either way I'm looking forward to it. The comic also.

Fujin seems to be the safe bet, but my gut is telling me Reptile, with Kenshi being a close second.

However, every time we know a potential reveal is coming, my heart so desperately wants it to be Baraka. I'll forever hold onto hope that he makes the cut.
