Well, she's obviously not just one certain insect. She's got spiderlegs with stingers on, she's got wings, she's got boobs... However, in interviews, she's been described as half-wasp/half-human... but she doesn't exactly look like a wasp.

Judging by her black and yellow look, I would imagine that either a wasp or hornet were part of the inspiration when it comes to her race.

Let's see. She has long ass stingers, wings like a dragonfly, and her stomach houses other insects. Like a combination of bugs but she is described as half human, half wasp.

She might just be her own unique species of insect. Or the insect part that she is "half" of could just be some unknown Outworld insect.

Isn't it already established that she is just based on bugs generally? I mean if she was based on just a wasp she would be called "wasp-lady" not bug-lady in general. She has the physical attributes of a wasp, a spider, a dragonfly and she also has several other bugs in her stomach. So she definitely isn't based on just one insect.

One thing for sure: D'Vorah's color scheme is meant to be similar to that of a wasp, to show that she is dangerous. Otherwise, she is a mishmash of different cretures.

I think those are her ovipositors which bees and wasps and shit use to sting. Wasp's can sting more than once right?

Anyway yeah, those aren't legs or anything, it's just interesting that she has more than one.

But it just shows that D'Vorah isn't just inspired from one certain insect.

She's a mix of a few kreepy krawlies, but she's probably some kind of Outworld bee-girl.
