So is there any hope for the remaining revenants? (Spoilers)
Apparently, I heard that Raiden says as long as Quan Chi lives, the revenants can be restored.. which Scorpion seems to have ruined... (though this doesn't make any sense)

Then again, who says that's the only way to restore them?
There are as many ways to restore them as the writers can imagine. They'll be resurrected in a game or two to keep them young alongside the new generation of fighters. Age probably won't keep Sonya, Jax, or Johnny out either.

I wish there was another way to save the remaining revenants.

I would wish my idea would come in handy. It'll be a sign of hope.

At least they kept some undead and made the whole massacre thing not entirely meaningless
But yeah they'll be back to normal sometime down the road, this is MK, my friends

It depends on the next game roster's size, they clearly have lower priority than the main roster + guests.

They have some explaining to do about Jade. No cameo or mention at all in the story; she was only seen in the background of Kitana's ending. They seriously better have good reasoning behind this in the next game. I'm not a Jade fan at all, but it upsets me that they did this to her.

Kung Jin's ending sheds some light on that.

That Raiden was convinced that without Quan Chi being alive none would ever be able to get those fallen back, but Kung Jin travels to Netherrealm looking for his cousin Kung Lao and he finds him in a temple and kinda proposes to help him getting back to his old self without the need of Chi. Kung Lao is pictured as being human in the ending.

While it's not 100% canon nor it brings a solution to everybody,it kinda shows that the team is more than willing not to retrain themselves with Quan chi.
Ah, okay, well, guess because Quan Chi is dead doesn't mean they won't stop trying to save them. Makes sense.

I wish they could get Nightwolf restored, if anyone could restore the others, it'd probably be him.

Well at least they ALL weren't spontaneously resurrected by a Deus-Ex Machina device. It shows that NRS is taking death more seriously. The revenants Jax and Sub-Zero only got resurrected because they were in the vicinity of an exploding resurrection pool. Scorpion well...he's a spectre and still retains his powers so he's still technically undead hence the comics.
