So I guess this game wont be coming out this year ?

Its almost February, and we still havent had as much as a screen shot. Now im not trying to get all gloom and doom, but seriously, if we dont got some news by the end of Feb, Its going to be hard to believe we'll see a new MK game by Oct of 2008. After all, deception and armegeddon had a 2 year period between them, so I think we might be waiting till 2009.

You know Midway. They're trying to Hype it up as much as possible. So people will pressure burst their manhood all over they're forums, when something finally does drop. wink

Unless you hear something about the game being moved to 2009, don't go overboard if there hasn't been a post about the game yet. Give it time. Learn to relax. Its a game, just remember, its a game.

didnt Ed say that all we would see of MK this year was maybe a teaser trailer or a poster of some sort at E3 ?
if I am mis quoting him then
well in 2006 wasnt it untill like near the end of Feb that we got that nice teaser on Armageddon ?
so I woudlnt lose hope just yet

If Febuary comes and goes without any news, then we should panic. Just be a little more patient, find other things to do to keep you occupied.

Why? Why should we panic? This is the MK team's first MK game on the next-gen consoles. Maybe they want to keep it mysterious for as long as they can. Since when did a game company not revealing teasers or info become signs that a game is being delayed?

I don't see why it should come out this year... look at how long it took for MKDA to come out after MK4.
And I don't mind the wait, by the way.

Don't forget, alot of MK team members worked on The Grid after MK4, which could explain the longer period in between.
