Does he play a part in the game's storymode, is there any mention of him in the game? I mean, he his the arcade sub-boss after all.

Having a noncanon sub-bus was not a very good idea. Hopefully his arcade ending gives and bio give us some idea as to why he's in the game.

goro's bio states that the shokan didn't pick sides during the civil war,which led to the shokan being outcasts.
in other words: same damn thing as MK4.

Guess they figured since they already had characters who didn't do shit in story mode already on the roster why not have a non-canon sub-boss?

I really hope they take Sheeva in an awesome direction for MK11 or DLC.
