So... Edenia...

I don't Know... But was it ever stated whether Edenia was freed from Outworld after Shao Khans demise? I Know that in the original Timeline Edenia was Freed after Shao Khan was defeated, so was that the case this go around as well in mk 2011? I would assume even if it were freed, since Mileena Took over outworld right after Shao Khan died, could she have just merged the realms yet again since Edenia basically Had no protectors As Kitana, Sindel and Jade were all dead? confusedconfusedconfused

Is Kitana Going to be not only Fighting for the soul of her mother but for Control over Edenia as well in MKX?


IDK i'm lost so Many questions Just wanna hear everyones thoughts on the matter. ugh lol

It wasn't freed and there is nothing indicating otherwise.

In the original timeline it was freed by Kitana, since she died along with Jade and Sindel, there was no one left to separete Edenia from Outworld.

Yeah I'm pretty sure trying to restore a dead realm during constant civil war in Outworld is a bad idea. I would have preferred if Kitana and her people moved onto Shang Tsung's Island (it's abandoned now) in Earthrealm like in the MK vs. DC ending. That way they wouldn't be threatened by constant crazy warlords trying to invade it since they are under protection in Earthrealm plus Kitana is much more closer to Liu Kang so their relationship can be a strong possibility than if they were separated back in MK4.

Just one question Why people think Queen Sindel will not be freed unlike Kitana,Kung Lao and Sub-Zero ?Please someone explain this to me !I just can't get it !furious

No one can answer that question yet since we don't know what happens in the story. I'm sure it will be explained because for some reason, not all of the characters who died in MK9 are going to be ressurected (i.e. Jade).

Nope. This time around it was not restored due to there being no Kitana to some how do that.

But you know what I have a question. Was Kitana ever made aware of Edenia in the last game? All that happened to her from what I remember was Shao Kahn said he didn't want to be her dad anymore and that gave her reason enough to want him dead.

But she never found out about Edenia.

Then when we come to Sindel beating her organs into mush she says "Remember Edenia mother!" Wait, How do you remember Edenia?!

I think she was just told about it by Raiden and Shao Kahn, and thought it could work on Sindel. Situations like this happen in real life sometimes.

But I don't remember any now.

Shao Kahn told Kitana that her father was weakling Edenian king. And that's how she found out, I guess.

I think liberating Edenia might be Kitana's ultimate purpose, specially since she stated she doesn't feel part of Outworld anymore.

Edenia SHOULD be free! Shao Kahn is dead. He was only defeated in MK3 and Edenia was freed.

Screw the magical orb, that's shitty writing. There are just not enough of Reiko's militia in Edenia anymore cause there's a freakin' civil war in Outworld.

And Edenians aren't scared anymore that Shao Kahn will come and take their souls if they rebel.

Edenia IS free! Or it's an inconsistency by NRS (which could be!) ;)))

It will be interesting to see what happens with Edenia in the future. I'm eager to see what Kitana's purpose in this game is as well. In the old timeline, Kitana, over her 10,000 years as Shao Kahn's daughter, found out herself about Edenia and her real parents.
