I'm thinking maybe at E3 we'll finally get an MK10 reveal.

We have about 6 months until a news reveal, I think. Just before e3 they will reveal MK10, if they are following the same timeline as the MK9 reveal.

But Boon will troll us LOTS in the mean time, that you can be sure.

I'd say that's the smart man's bet.

I really hope it's MK10 and NOT an adventure game. I really loved Shaolin Monks, but I want to see how MK10 unfolds.

I don't care AT ALL if MK10 is a fighter or adventure game. I really think the series could take some huge steps if it didn't have to shape the storytelling around making us play as every fighter, in sequence, along the way.

I am down with an adventure game.

It's definitely not going to be MK Vs DCU 2. Ed has pretty much killed anyone asking for it on twitter.

Dunno what they will do, we are in bizarre cross gen times. Where the install base for PS3/360 is much larger than Xbone/PS4 but Microsony would encourage a new all singing and dancing Mortal Kombat on those consoles.

Can't help thinking though, New Shaolin Monks using MK9 assets, Co Op Online play including the whole trilogy. SHEEVA BAWS.

Yeah I'm hoping that E3 will lead to some next NRS reveals. There really hasn't been a whole lot of buzz or info on their next game.

I sure hope something comes soon for MK2 (2014/2015). Keep on with the MK fighter and not anything else.

Yeah E3 should be our first real news about anything MK 10. Can't wait.

I'm fully expecting a reveal trailer/article a week or two before E3, as was the case with both MK9 and Injustice. Injustice was announced the year after MK9's release, so I see no reason why it would be any different this time.

So, it'll likely be announced/revealed at the end of May, and then lots of hype going into E3 a week or two after, where they will reveal more details and give some demonstrations.

I'd love if they announced MK10 as either an adventure game or a fighting game, but in all honesty, I was kind of hoping that they'd step out of their comfort zone and make an all new franchise.

Sure, Mortal Kombat to NRS is like Mario to Nintendo, but there's no reason that they can't make an all new IP. Before they were just part of Midway that made Mortal Kombat games, now they are their own studio. I'd really like to see them make a new game that isn't a Mortal Kombat game or a fighting game.

Of course, if their next title is a Mortal Kombat game, I won't be upset about it.

Boons twitter feed today (13.02.2014) has had a few random posts relating to diffrent comments about MK Deception, maybe a HD remake incomming?

That doesnt sound very appealing. John Tobias is now making games for mobile apps. Ed Boon should stick with MK. it is likely to come out in 2015.
