Slapping!!! A future fighting move

Wouldn't it be so cool to just be able to slap your opponent across the face?

This would be so cool and so hilarious.

This is just something I realized. In all the games, there has been punching, kicking, stabbing, nut cracking, and you name it, but there has never been slapping.

I'd love to take my character and just slap people good and hard. Like a throw move when at first your character stuns the opponent so they're kind of dizzy and then sends them a wake-up call by smashing a slap on their face with big fat "whack" sound effect. LOL

This most likely won't happen with the "serious" MK that's coming up, but don't u guys think it would have been a cool fun idea otherwise?

I don't know if this would appeal to a lot of you but it would fun and funny as hell for me.

It would be fun but I doubt that we will see it. Besides, this is a martial arts game. Is slapping a form of a martial arts move? Don't think so, unless it is an open-handed palm strike which closely resembles a slap.

Maybe Boon can introduce a new female character with "Catfight" as her fighting style. Then we can see lots of slapping, hair-pulling and nail-scratching. Meow! Hahaha. grin

Not exactly. But bitchslapping and women-fight slaps are definitely not effort/efficient moves in any martial arts. A slap into the eye is. A slap to the cheeks is not.

Agreed. I couldn't imagine a character who bitch-slaps. He/She will be the laughing stock of all the characters in MK history. smile

at the start of a match for humiliate your opponent,a slap can be a good CG intro before a match,but a slap as move..it's ridiculus,and BTW ED Boon says that this will be a serious game...so no chance in hell!

although i highly doubt this would occur in a MK game, it'd be funny if it was certain females taunting move;it should give them health, and stun the opponent since they'd be soo mortified.grin

LMAO!

That would be awesome.

I don't know about u guys but slapping people in MK would just be the funniest thing ever.

And yeah i know this won't happen with the more serious games coming out, but it's still fun to think about.

And slapping isn't a martial arts move but it's still an offensive move that could knock someone down if it's strong enough. Whack bitch!
