Let her spy and undermine Quan Chi until she meets Ermac; if there was any reason for her to team up with anyone, it would be to dig up her past. The blood she was made from was connected to a combination of souls at some point. Surely she wants to be "whole" again?

I feel like there really wasn't that much care given towards this character after the whole voting thing with Kahn, despite that they didn't want to disappoint the fans that really did care about what this surprise would be.

I'm indifferent about this character because she wasn't that bad, I just thought they could have done something more to her rather than making her a personality-less weapon working for Kahn. They could have done so much with her since she had nothing to do with the actual story. And now I feel like they'll take a predictable route with her if they intend on making her a returning character and give her this personality that really doesn't suit her.

That as well as making her become more humanized rather than this weapon that she was made as.

Then someone thought they should give her Mileena's childish personality. First of all, a lot of people, I think everyone, who talked about this absolutely hated it. I sure did. We go from having her be one of the best characters in Deception with the way she sounds strategic and realizes what power she can have when her sister is out of the way and she can use her looks and such, to horny six year old. Is that really a suitable personality for Scarlet? Absolutely not. There's no reason to make her be hated amongst the fans when we already have a character who's personality is being frowned upon greatly.

I honestly feel like there's nothing they can do for her that wouldn't be interesting to see. I feel like she's really got nothing to give unless the writers think long and hard how they want to use this character and how she should come back. And of course that's how I feel about this character. I really don't care what they do with her, even if she returns. If she does come back in X, it's another character to play as, but don't see me getting so hyped up about it, unless they worked the shit out of making her absolutely amazing.

They already did that with Kitana since I have really hated her for a long time, I'm sure they can whip something up for her if she is to return. But as I just stated, I really don't see her returning.

She has none, I hope we never see her again. She was a fun guest character for one game.

She'll be a janitor and drink up any spilled blood in tournaments

Now that Shao is out of the picture (at least temporarily) Skarlet can go one of two ways:

1. She 'disappears into obscurity' waiting for Shao Kahn's inevitable return somewhere down the line and come back as his weapon.

2. She seeks her own destiny, doing what she always has done since her creation - absorb blood. She'll be drawn to kombat by the lure of spilled blood of fallen warriors, and aim to become super-powerful.

Personally i hope for the latter but sadly i predict the former.

I doubt very much that she'd team up with the vampires. That would be like a bunny forming an alliance with lions.

Skarlet seems like a one and done kinda character. I can't see her returning in any future Mortal Kombat games.

At least she goes out with a bang, I mean her fatalities made kinda fun of Sub-Zero whos been around for years and never had even one fatality being half as cool as both of Skarlet's fatalities, same goes for many other characters.

Her fatalities were the best by far, but her story was weak and forgettable, too bad as she's really awesome and I love red-headed girl characters.

Now bring Kira back with new moves please! We need that red head!

Well seeing how most of the post Kahn stories for most of his minions go something like "I'm lost without my master. I need a new master. Who am I?"

I think it would be good to have Ermac take her in as a protege recognizing her as a lost soul and trying to help her find her way without Kahn in her head.

But let's face it we all know what is going to happen to her. She was a one off thing as far as NRS is concerned and the only time we'll see her again is when the next rushed MK "Trilogy" type game comes along.

Again NRS stop making characters if you aren't willing to follow through with them!

Skarlet is the blood that spills from all the characters during battle.

I doubt John will like that.

The same was said about Tanya and she came back.

She was the one that accompanied Shao Kahn in his royal showers at night. Now that he's gone, so is her purpose, and future.

She was a fun character with absolutely no thought into development. I wouldn't be surprised if she never came back, but I'd like her to, she was great fun to play.

I think it's rather disappointing that she'll never return.

I thought that she would have a variation based around those blood tendrils in MKX
