i was just wondering since wb is a huge huge movie company are they going 2 make the next mk movie imagine if mk9 and the movie comes out around the same time swweeeeeet.smile

Wrong, there is no such thing as a third MK in the process as of right now.

Despite the fact of a recent company change, I sense no movie making right away. But, there could be a chance, just not immediately.

Dude seriously...
The kid asked for a future movie and I gave the link to imdb. That’s freaking imdb man, not my personal opinion and you say I’m wrong? And you justify it on the fact that you SENSE no movie is being made?
I mean.. what the F man... you’re like dissin’ me with your psychic powers esse... what’s up with that?

Problem is, there is no such thing as a third movie in the process of being made. That is why I said you're wrong. Because that information about the third movie being made on IMDB has been up there for more than 10 years, I'd figure anyone with brains would have figured that the information up there was false.

And if you had read my post right, you would have seen that I said "I sense no movie being made RIGHT AWAY." That's not being psychic, that's believing that Warner Brothers have other important things to do other than make a movie of MK immediately after they bought out Midway. Besides, that second part wasn't even talking to you, so how the heck am I... what was it... "Dissin" you? How was I "dissin" you when I was answering the creator's question? Yeah, talk about misread. Jeese.

And on the third part... A man wouldn't use Icebaby as a name...

It wasn’t just funny amigo it was freaking hilarious! What? No? :)

On a serious note, Chris Casamassa which apparently is someone I should know but I don’t, said in an interview that filming starts in September '09. Don’t have a source, browse the forums on imdb if you’re interested and you will find it along with other cool hints like a clip from E! where they say something about MK.

Anyway where I’m going with it is that things look good for a movie and if I had to guess I would say that the game will come out first but by that time the movie trailer will appear. If indeed they’re filming now then 2010 which imdb states as the release date, is for me definitely possible.

I also heard about chris C confirming this. and i also heard somethign about ed boon and a script of some sort mentioning later this year.

Warner Bros wouldn't be able to make a movie anyway as they do not own the rights for films and TV shows based on MK. I'm surprised the people on this site don't already know that as there was a big stink up when WB were finalising the deal with Midway.

(And please note before someone starts crap up, I'm not referring to one user about bringing in news that's old/rumored, I am talking about a handful of people who have gathered what they thought was "evidence" about a new movie being made... so yeah...)
