I think that in the next game you shouldnt be able to fight yourself or immediate allies. Liu Kang cant fight Liu Kang, or Kung Lao, for it makes no sense.

Thats not bad idea, and the last normal enemy(before sub-boss and boss) can be your characters archnemesis.

that would be gay. it would drasticly decrease the fighting skill and variety. unless you suck at MK, in that case this would be a wonderful idea to make another great gaming franchise turned into a pop culture game for everyone like Sega did to Sonic. here's hoping the Sonic on the Wii goes back to his roots.

That is a very bad idea.

You would be just fighting the same people over and over again if you have a particular character you like you use often.

I and most others would get bored alot faster with the game if this was the case.

BUT! It would improve the storyline. Pretty much everything isnt canon, and it pisses me off. Just make the characters more rounded.

What would, say, Dairou do? He has two opponents, then what?

Good idea, but it won't work for many characters.

he dosnt mean that they can only fight there enemys, hes just saying that there should be fighting agaist allies or moirror matches
