I know that this ship has already sailed but what do you guys think? I personally would have appreciated the stage transitions.
Obviously not as over the top like Injustice but falling down the stairs, getting drop kicked through a window or knocked into a portal would have all been awesome.
I feel that stage transitions add just a little more flare to the fighting game experience.
Hopefully there are plenty of stage fatalities to make up for it.

Yes, Yes, 10 million times YES.
I really hoped after Injustice that the next MKX game will have transitions instead of interactions with the level.
I'm kind of disappointed but not really, the interactions turned out better than I expected but hopefully in the next MK game we will have stage transitions, like you said not over the top. but something fun would work.

I'd have liked stage transitions and death traps back.
Call it unfair or broken for a competitive setting, I don't play Mortal Kombat to take it seriously or wnt everything to be regulated like other fighting games.

Probably. I thought after Injustice we might get some in the next MK game, just not as over the top as the Injustice ones, some short n sweet ones like in the MK3 days.
I'm not mad at them not being in or anything, but it would have been cool to see them return since we didn't get them in MK9.

Part of me thinks absolutely, part of me is thankful there isn't. Stage transitions are great, they can switch up a fight at any moment and they're always fun to watch. A lot of the time though, there needs to be some kind of connection between the stages. Like with Injustice, you can be on the roofs of Gotham or go down to the streets but you're still in Gotham, it's two stages with that distinct Gotham flare. By having individual stages, there's room for more variety when there's a set limit to how many stages can be in the game. So in a way, I'm glad that MKX doesn't have them, but I'm all for them returning at a later...stage....

I understand what you are saying, and it makes a lot of sense. And actually after hearing your point, I'm also kind of happy we didn't get them, Because look at all the stages we have right now. THEY ARE AWESOME.
But if NRS were to be limited by having to connect each stage to the other, they won't be unique or interesting like they are now. But I hope in the next game we will have something like extending the stage rather than a different stage. Like in the MKX trailer where Scorpion throws Subby into a tree and that extends the stage. They had something like this in Injustice.
Although I would have liked to possibly see some (i.e. not in every map), I'm glad we don't have them because I think that's straying a bit too much into Injustice territory, and we're already there due to stage interactables ect. So no, there shouldn't be stage transitions in MKX and I'm glad there aren't.

I hated the death traps because they really weren't registered as fatalities but I do love stage transitions so maybe MK11 will have them. If we request them long enough they may listen to us.
Sure, stage transitions are big part of MK and they should come back! That crap that booN said it's Injustice thing is pure bull! I prefer stage transitions 100000000k more times than this stupid stage intractable bullshit! I mean the jumping on trees and fucking tigers ! I like throwing 80yo grannies at my opponent tho !
