Personally for me, it's all about a good storyline. If it has a good storyline, and makes sense, I'm down for anything.

Hero? That would be the worst idea in all of existence.

There's no doubt he should return, because his story potential is unlimited...just like Meat's. However, with a total revamp...evil is the route to go.

Sorry dude but this is the WORST and dumbest topic and question for a thread. Chameleon being a hero??? He shouldnt even be in a game. I hope he doesnt even make it to the next game. hahahaha out of all the better characters to be a potential hero you chose Chameleon.

no offense dude, but that better not ever happen! i mean, he dosen't have a good story, barely a story at all, why would they give him the chnace to be the star of the game? That don't make any sense to me.

To go on the topic, Chameleon is a clean slate to work with, but I would hope with armageddon he would have been eliminated I love his moves and his fighting styles, but I cannot imagine him being the new Character. I can imagine the new main hero being Sub-Zero #3 with a rip off of Scorpion hunting him.

Midway and new Characters? There has been nothing new from Ed Boon since MK3. All of the *new* characters for MK4 were rip offs of old characters. Instead of morphing, Shinnok stole moves, Kai got Shang Tsung's fireballs. Jarek got Kano's lasers.

Then ever since then with the new characters, Li Mei was a rip off of Killer Instinct's Kim Wu. Darius was KI's Fulgore, he just wasn't robotic. Ashrah was a female Raiden with spark power instead of lightning. I could go on and on.

He is evil, and I don't believe he will de-eviltize himself. I don't care If he returns, just as long as there's nothing they left out for him. But he probably will not ever be a hero.

To be honest I find the idea terrible.

IMO, Chameleon should never come back to future MK games.

Neither Shang Tsung nor Shinnok "stole" moves. Shang Tsung had the ability to morph into other characters and use their moves. Shinnok simply impersonated the other characters' fighting style and moves. In MKA, Shinnok gained his own special moves.

Kai got Shang Tsung's fireballs? Since when? Jarek using the whole eye laser thing was just in his fatality. In terms of moves, Jarek and Kano shared the Cannonball and I think even the Diagonal Cannonball. Other than that, Jarek had his own personality and moves. In MKA, he really had different moves than Kano's.



No, Li Mei is not a rip-off of Kim Wu. Li Mei's character is influenced by things like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Darrius (two r's, not one) is not a rip-off of Fulgore. That doesn't make any sense, even considering them both having gauntlet blade type weapons. Ashrah is NOT a female Raiden. That's just erroneous how different the two are.

Chameleon? No way!, I know MOKAP would be a much BETTER choice to be the most uber, ultimate, coolest, hero in the game because he is UBER COOL AND AWSOME!

I have to admit, I play as Chameleon quite a lot in MKA, and I have no problem with his return. However, as the hero, i think there are plenty of possible returning characters who deserve that role instead. For example, and NOT limited to Kung Lao who has been under Kang's shadow for quite some time. Besides, I think the one who started this thread has indeed seen the support he has been getting . I like the effort, but unfortunately the MK team would lose a lot of its fans if they took this route. But like I mentioned, IMO I wouldn't mind having his return in future games.

Somehow I think theres a 99% chance that Chameleon will be evil......

Hmm... this is a really good idea. I mean Chameleon is not that great a character, and this would definitely make him a lot more noticed, and it will finally allow people to take him more seriously as a real character. It will also make those Khameleon fans stop bitching that he "isn't a real character" and shouldnt have been in MKA.

chameleon is someone we know nothing about ( except that he copys moves, and is a ninjas), so they midway could do anything they want with him, so, you may hate the idea now, but if he dose comeback, you might like him

As much as i love chameleon. Being a hero is kinda random. I want him to return in mk8 most defiantly. But id rather he be more of a mysterious neutral character. Rather then this good chameleon save the day translucent ninja.
