Will he ever escape his hell from the Netherrealm?? Quite frankly I miss the guy. Hey I got an idea. Could it be Armageddon because he escapes from hell??? HAHAHA imagine all the asswooping he'd give to his enemies...(basically he hates everyone...lets see besides Reiko his general, he owes alot to Tanya...He has a good relationship with Shang Tsung...and thats about it)
Think about all the conflict with the rest of the characters...that would be cool eh???

I'd like to see Shinnok come back. He had a good story and he seemed like a cool character but they screwed him up big time by making him a poor-man's Shang Tsung. I'm not sure if I want him as the boss again, but I'd definitely would like to see him make a comeback.
I'd like to see him as this complete lunatic, driven insane by years of torture in the Netherealm and his defeats and betrayals. More interested now in destruction and chaos than simple domination.
He has more than a few grudges to hold, although I'm not sure what you mean by a good relationship with Shang Tsung. Shinnok's only "relationship" with Tsung was the secret deal Quan Chi made involving Sindel's resurrection.
I'd be most interested in seeing how he reacts to Raiden's recent changes. Would he see a relfection in his former rival? Would he simply be amused by his fall from grace?
Also with the One Being emerging as a potential threat, Shinnok could play an interesting role there. As a former Elder God, he'd know more about the One Being than anyone else. Wouldn't it be bizarre if the good guys ended up having to turn to Shinnok for help?

Actually, what you said just there got me thinking. Shinnok could cause some real trouble on his own, but what if he recruited the guys from Chaosrealm to do some dirty work for him? I think its gonna be Kabal who has the Heart of Onaga, so he'll likely ressurect Kano and maybe Jarek, so Chaos could be a dominant force in the world soon. Especially considering the collapse of Orderealm.
Also, it would be neat to see him save Shujinko from Raiden and then send him to find the amulet that seems to have been forgotten about in payment for saving his life. I assume it still holds ultimate power, like Shinnok intended it to hold.
As the new champion of the Elder Gods, that would certainly mean that Scorpion had his work cut out for him.

I hated how Shinnok was portrayed in MK4; they made him so weak and pathetic, I was glad they killed him off. It John Vogel can revamp his story and make him into something more than a "Fallen Elder God", then maybe he can have a chance. I'd love to see him escape from the Netherealm and cause some chaos... I could just imagine what he could do...
Check out the fanfic I wrote about Shinnok in my sig to get an idea about how I would want him to be in the next game.

Yes he was a absoloutely easy boss to beat in MK4. He should have been a much stronger character and if he does return to feauture in MKA he should be tottaly revamped, like most characters need to be.

Shinnok was interesting. He makes me wonder how many elder gods (and goddesses) there are. (Or how many more will be made up.)
I think Shinnok needs another chance to shine on a better game like Armageddon is gonna be. Better graphics and stuff like that. I didnt even know who he was in MK4 until I picked him. In Mythologies Sub-Zero he was a mysterious bad ass and it kept my mind wandering. I think if he is given another chance we would be impressed so I say lets do it!
