In the next game, how will Sareena or Ashrah come back? Ashrah, she doesn't seem to move me.
Sareena does... wonder if she'll become a being of light. What story and moves should she have?

I love Ashrah's voodoo doll pin cushion fatality, just saying.

I didn't like Ashrah, but Sareena was awesome. I hope she returns. :3

Ashrah should be replaced. Someone else should wield light abilities. As for Sareena, she needs new powers.
As i do believe Sareena would be great as DLC, but if she isnt, she DEFINITELY should be in the next game. Her moveset should be updated and fresh. And a cool twist could be, maybe if Sub-Zero doesn't help her out, maybe Scorpion can?? Just a thought. However, I think she should join the good guys. And i think Ashrah has potential too

As it stands, Sareena has more personality, more connections to other characters, and thus more interesting stuff to do and play a part in.
Ashrah's not bad, but she would be more interesting if we met her before or during when she finds the kriss for the first time, so we could see how it changes her, instead of after she's already fully become a set-in-her-ways holy warrior.

I like how they started a rivalry between Ashrah and Nitara. Ashrah could be cool, but she needs a lot of work. I would definitely like to see Ashrah, Sareena and Nitara in the next game.
This might help make her more interesting. Perhaps seeing her go from troubled demon to holy warrior, then having her fail might be interesting.

I think Ashrah could make an excellent villain. In her attempt to purify herself, she embarks on a genocidal quest against species such as the Tarkatans and the vampires. She could encourage other people searching for redemption to assist her.
I don't want Nitara and her whole race to be predictably portrayed as pure evil, and eradictating the Tarkatans should not be viewed as a good thing. I like to think MK's demons, or half demons, aren't destined to be "evil", just prone to it.

That was basically what happened in MKA. Ashrah was misled to believe she was performing good by slaying the vampires of Vaeternus. The sword was pure evil.
"Though Datusha's origin has been lost to history, its purpose is clear: It lives to kill as many vampires as it can." - Nitara's bio
It'd be cool if they would elaborate on the two characters; having Ashrah as evil and Nitara as good would be a nice change from the archetypes.
