I would expect something in game informer come january.Same thing happend with MKA it was releasesd in oct 06,and game informer had the first scoop on it in jan 06 i beleive.So i would expect the same pattern for mk8.

Raiden is the sub-boss AND Liu AKng Won't be in. Riiight. If Raiden is the sub-boss, Liu Kang can't just die off. It would be utter nonsense.

I can almost garuntee this is completely untrue. The MK8 game hasn't even gone into production yet as far as we all know otherwise we'd would have heard about it by now. We also know the possible returning characters who may be in the next game hences their MKA endings. Scorpion, Quan Chi, Noob Saibot+Classic Sub-Zero combination character, Liu Kang, Kai, Reptile, and Khameleon. That's all I can really remember to be honest. The boss is more than likely going to be the One Being that they keep mentioning. We may see the other elder gods in this game if you think about it. Since Fujin is named for the Japanese mythological god of wind, we know the names of all the other elders too if we look it up. Suijin is the God of Water. Chijin is the God of Earth. Kajin is the God of Fire, and according to it Kujin is the God of Everything (possibly the One Being?) They are known as the Five Elements in Japanese Mythology I believe. I used to study this in college too. If Boon is involved which you know he has to be since this has been half his project from the get-go then we may see a crossover fighting engine. I think a lot of people are going to be surprised when the storyline has nothing to do with events from the first 7 mk's.I don't know what you guys don't understand about mka when boon said wraping up the loose ends.That was the end of that story for better or worse.I expect a totally new direction,maybe a prequel to the events of mk1 or something that goes in a competely new diretion.

So he didn't clarify his sources and he layed down a possible roster. It's not too out their yet.

The only thing that could be considered outlandish are his claims of the 2 new characters, and they seem like they would fit, and he didn't hilight those as the topic of his post therefore he was not trying to draw too much attention to them.

And finally, whoever posted this obviously isn't trying to take everyone for a ride or else he'd end the post with, "i'll have more next week, i gotta go check with my uncle this weekend who works at midway and get the scoop," or some shit like that. Instead, he called his own bluff saying that the team would release news in November about the subject, which is not too farfetched considering we ALWAYS get news about the next mortal kombat around that time.

Although they'll point to this persons uncredited sources, I think that most people really shake their heads because they don't like the "proposed" roster, but thankfully this MK's roster is not in the hands of the fans. Hopefully Midway's last effort of trying to satisfy their foolish fans' requests in p.o.s. armageddon was their last. I don't care if this has any of my favorite characters in it, just as long as it doesn't have a worthless piece of shit storyline.

Everyone needs to remember, MK's being scrapped and rebuilt, MKA will have nothing to do with this game thank god. Apparently I was reading that same forum just now and the topic starter had some more info (page 2 of thread) saying that goro,kintaro,motaro are gone for good. The old fatality system is returning. Also scorp,subs and rain are selectable striaght away and raiden and quan chi are unlockable. Also new character nicknamed Jedon is possessed by noob. 5 more old characters MAY return including Kung Lao. Also there will be new boss. See it for yourself.

From what this guy is saying im in, as for ratings i think that there going in a good direction yea the humor will be greatly missed but other new game genres and releases are hardcore gritty gaming action, the chraracters staying, getting left behind, and new ones is what needs to be done for more fans and for old ones to come back we will see what happens, but for as if the information is true or not, does not matter were talking about it and its new, good pick up.
