I absoloutely hate the way he looks in MK:DA. MK4 is only a little bit better. I think he looks absoloutely spot on in MKSM. He has equal features from a Reptile to a human.

It would be between MK2 or MKSM for me.

Reptile needs to be exactly as his name implies - a damn Reptile. I dislike the fanboys going on about how he should be a ninja. He's a Zaterrian warrior. A reptilian creature. He can be ninja like in his ninja form. He shouldn't ever be human. Or he could be, but not all the time. I prefer him as a reptile and he always looks great. I hope he does come back. Reptile rules!

I think because his Human form was his first look most people like it better, but as you say he is called reptile, so he should be one.

Halfway decent in MKSM. I would picture the MKDA Reptile with the uniform he wore in SM, though with a wider black cloak over the head, and with a metallic helmet resembling something reptilian, like an oriental dragon.

I just really don't like the Reptile head in MK:DA im fine with the rest of the body.

Either the Shaolin Monks one or the DA version. his humanized version of himself from MK2 is a thing of the past. But you'd never know!?

Yes, I dont think we will see reptile again, because Onaga is not dead and he still ocupies his body; but that is an extremely biased opinion and it is only what I think will happen in the next game.

To all the people saying, "His name is Reptile! He should look like a Reptile!" I disagree with your logic. Now, I'm not saying that if you like him as a lizard you aren't entitled to your opinion, but his name shouldn't be a weiging factor.

Scorpions name is Scorpion, but that doesn't mean I want him to have bigass pinchers for hands and a venom tipped tail. :P

Like I said, you're entitled to your preferance, but a name, while it may convey some of a character's traits, should not be the soul determining factor behind that characters look.

Reptile-like traits can be conveyed effectively both in the design of a Reptilian man, and a Green Ninja with Reptilian powers.

Reptile is not a Lizard, nor is he a man. He's a Zaterran. Zaterrans can shift between a Reptilian form and a Human form. In the world of Mortal Kombat, one form makes just as much sense as the other.

ANYWAY, all that aside, I don't really hate the lizard form, but I miss the ninja one. It's been too long, I want my cavalcade of rainbow Ninjas back. (Personally i think the best solution, not just for reptile, but every character, would be to make each a new costume (in Reptiles case a lizard) and make their alt a classic outfit (in Reptiles case a ninja), like Kano in MKDA and Scorpion in MKD (Though Scorpion wasn't as good since there wasn't a ton of differance.)

I think, the Shaolin Monks Reptile outdoes the MK4 Reptile. Plus he has the five digits that he supose to have.

Even MKDA Reptile had five digits, thats some freak evolution. going on.

Reptile rocks, he should have been able to get in Deception and i got my hopes up, He's my favorite, but they need to upgrade him like they did with Sub-Zero and Scorpion.

I think the MKSM version of Reptile is a good one. Is a combination of both a reptile and a ninja, which he is. I think that's how he should look like in MK7.

He should be something like he was in MKDA. for his alternate costume he Should be a ninja. that way. MK fans get Reptile either way and they're happy. If only that could be the same scenerio for Smoke.

He should not be a reptilian creature/fighter because of his name, but he must be one because of his story. There is no point in turning around things all over again and going back to 0, unless we discover his race wasnt exactly extinct...and even if it wasn’t, it would be silly to see human-ninja Reptile playing games with his monstrous reptilian race pals.

I was really happy Reptile had finally gotten away from the stupid circle of pallet-swap boring ninjas in Mk4, and he has only improved with the recent games, though that’s his best look IMO.

Turning him ninja-human (even though he was never really that human) again I think would be a mistake, a waste and something rather boring to do, keep him reptilain.

Yes, it would be very stupid to do that but i dont want him turning into a actual Reptile, i tihkn a cross between is the best choice.

While initially the Shaolin Monks design seemed an advance for Reptile, the more minute detail of the look was flawed. Ultimately, he even looked a tad overweight!

However, the Deadly Alliance Reptile was, in my opinion, unacceptable. He lacked creativity on too many levels - he wasn't artistic.

Ramifications set aside, a more styled version of Monks' Reptile as the default with a more nostalgic suit as an alternate would be something to consider... While still bearing in mind his lizardness of course!
