MKSM isnt a MK2 remake at all
and whats wrong with a MK2 remake?

Finally a positive response, and yes MKSM wasn't a remake of MK2, it was just based around the time of MK2. Just thought it would be cool. And plus this is just an idea and its never gonna happen(duh).

When Armageddon was being talked about I thought it would be cool to do a 3-D remake of all of the games, because they had all of the characters!

As for the MK2 remake...

I would love a prison stage like the one at the end of MKSM where you fight Kano. Oh and Kahn's classic arena. Along with all of the 3D arenas they remade for Deception and Armageddon.

I love the old school hidden characters instead of unlockable characters. It adds so much replayability, although with the original MK2 I only faced Jade, I think I did face Smoke ONCE.

I think a good mode if they remade MK2 would be a tag mode, KUNG / KANG, SONYA / JAX, MILEENA / KITANA, MILEENA / BARAKA, SCORPION / SUB, REPTILE / TSUNG and so on.

Puzzle Mode would be amazing,

KITANA - organize your blocks
MILEENA - breaker
BARAKA - stab side colums down
TSUNG - use your opponent's special
KAHN - destroy the top 3 blocks of each column
SCORPION - shuffle opponent's blocks
SUB-ZERO - freeze opponent's blocks
REPTILE - make opponent's blocks inivisible
NOOB - slow the fall rate of opponent's blocks
SMOKE -increase the fall rate of opponent's blocks
JAX - smash down the top 4 rows
KANO - laser down the tallest column
RAIDEN - rain blocks down
LIU - fireball the lowest 4 rows
CAGE - shadow, make the blocks that fall of your opponent's invisible

Just leave the classics alone! MKSM was good enough to update MK2. It was actually a great MK2 update, especially Vs mode. I don't want to hear any complaints about the story now...

uuuhhh, no. We WILL NOT remake MK2. Three reasons. Bad graphics. Less characters. They have already remade MK2 into a 3-D game with a unique battle system called Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. That is all I have to say.
