Regarding the PS3/360 ports (gamestop release date is fake)

Contacted HVS' Facebook page via PM. Asked them about the ports being possibly cancelled, and I got this:
"As it stands, no the 360/PS3 version of MKX have not been cancelled. They are still being worked on, and WB will announce an official release date as soon as they are ready."
Also asked them about the gamestop release date and I received the following response:
"We can answer that. The date of June 2nd was a placeholder date that many retailers used, and was never provided by WB. You can absolutely reach out to WB if you have any more specific options, but until a release date is officially announced they will not be able to provide much more detail."
So yeah,it's still summer. If you have any doubts regarding these ports,ask HVS on facebook(via PM) or contact WB. It's good news as well,because this means the ports are still in development.

is anybody still going to get the PS3/360 versions? I know I will get the PS3 one.

No - I have the PS4 version, nothing would ever possibly warrant the purchase of a previous-gen version.

That said - the release date was pushed back twice already, so the outsourced team working on the last-gen port is probably hitting some hiccups. Multiple delays doesn't mean cancellation, but its not a good sign. If it's not shaping up to be what they want it to be, it could potentially be scrapped.

I just hope they don't pull some BS like "Sorry you previous genners had to wait - here's Rain, Sareena and Li Mei as playable characters. Current Gen won't get them."

officially they only announced a Summer 2015 release date. there was a rumor that it was coming out in June,but,I repeat,the summer release date was the only one they ever announced,there was only 1 delay regarding these ports.

I have the PS4 version, but I will pick up the PS3 version if (and only if) it has a separate trophy listing. That would be the only reason for me, really.

I'm glad someone got an answer. I even called the company and never got anything.

Thank you for the update. June 2 or not I just am super glad it's still coming.

Just got an answer from WB games Mexico on FB.
"Hola, saldrá en verano."
translates to: "Hello,it will be out/released in summer".
So yeah,summer 2015 is still the official release date.
