reasons why Cyrax may and may not be in MKX

#1 because he didn't die in MK9
#2 because he's a robot so he can appear far into the future
#3 because the Special Forces will be in MKX and Cassie will have to work alongside others, this is assuming Cyrax will become a good character and join the SF like he did in the initial timeline
#4 hopefully not being controversial but I can't see an MK game without a black male character, if Jax is to remain dead then Cyrax is the most iconic black male to take his place, (I'm sure Kai will also be in MKX) Cassie and Cyrax could be the next gen Sonya and Jax,
(I also think that there will be drastic upgrades on returning characters and Cyrax's initial timeline: MK Gold/DA story of seeking to regain his humanity will be taken to a new level and he'll be more human than ever but simultaneously possess enough cyborg parts to be robot)
Reasons Why Not:
#1 he was in the last game and NRS may feel he should sit this one out
#2 if he remains evil in the new timeline then I see less chances of him returning as MKX is already going to have a lot of evil characters.

Good reasoning.
I don't think that Cyrax will be in human form at all if he is to be in MKX. At least I hope he won't be, even as a variation. Should just stay cyborg.

Seeing as he was favorite at EVO, I doubt he would sitting this one out. Also his MK9 ending depicted him becoming a good again.

Cyrax and Sektor have never appealed to me... they're so boring. I hope Cyrax sits the next 2 games out. Sektor can go blow himself up like in his MK3 ending and just not (ever) show up again for all I care.
Smoke (now human) can stick around.
Cyber Sub-Zero hopefully suffers Sektor's fate.
OH, did I mention I'm not a fan of cyborgs?

He is one of my favourites so I hope to see him again.
If he appears in the storymode it would be cool to see him at three different points in the timeline, becoming more advanced as it progresses.

I always get a bit annoyed when people do this, as if they know something the rest of us don't. This, and when people say "I need this to be in", because no, you don't "need" it, you want it, it's not a need!
*sits in grumpy corner*

@Tazer_Gunshot
I too prefer Cyrax as the iconic cyborg, but I can see them trying something new with him if he does appear 2 games in a row and being set in the future
@Darkhound74 I think Cyrax will always be leaning more towards the good side so long as Sektor is about to be the evil one
@blacksaibot ''Sektor can go blow himself up'' LOL agree, and yeah I prefer human Smoke! red, yellow and blue Cyber ninjas are more than enough
@D'Vorah Cyrax will always return before Sektor :p
@raidenthefridge yeah the 3 variation would work really well with Cyrax
@Wanderer since MK2 Jax has been playable in every game except Deception, I like Jax but he needs to take a well earned break!
@Jaded-Raven if there's one character that is guaranteed to come back- it's Raiden, but otherwise it is indeed annoying when someone says with certainty something they just don't know. lol

But he really will be, he's somewhat of a given.

Cyrax is one of those characters that should be in every MK. He embodies so much of the MK3 spirit, and I'm one of those cats who feels every era of the series needs some representation in each game.
Whether he's back or not, I'd say it's a 50/50. NRS does whatever the fuck they want, and then the story comes later.

Keep dunking your Kenshi breadsticks into your Skarlet sauce, people! The main course isn't coming for a while, and you never know when it's going to be disappointing.

Oh my god, yes. I agree with this idea. Just having Sonya bring Cyrax back to his mental self (still stuck being a cyborg of course), and Cyrax swearing to protect her daughter because of what Sonya did for him.

I'm expecting a cyborg in the game, I don't care if it's Sektor or Cyrax really. I've always been more of a Cyrax fan though.

I don't care much for cyborgs. I always appreciated the magic and sorcery aspect of the series over the technology one. With that said, I'd actually like it if they introduced an extremely futuristic brand-new cyborg, one who looks nothing like Cyrax/Sektor and has no affiliation with the Lin Kuei.

If he is in MKX and has his human design for his alt/variation, we cannot do anything except for not using it. Also, he should have his helicopter fatality.
I'd rather have Sektor tho. He is much more interesting in specials, fatalities and character wise.
The only thing that makes me like Cyrax is his cyber net.
I really want a revanche on the Cyber Net Fatality in MK9 which was HORRIBLE, ugly and didn't work out the way it should have.
Instead of the net they should do a wall of lasers much like in the resident evil movie. And the flesh must fall in cubes.

I'm not wanting to see this, but, it'll most-likely happen due to Cyrax was on the evil side in MKX.

Jax isn't over anything. Also I'm kind of sick of the argument that Jax is only around for diversities sake. MK has always had plenty of racial minorities. He's so oversaturated I'm tired of Jax.

Sonya wouldn't know how. Jax is a technological genius and is the one of gave Cyrax his humanity back the first time.Oh my god, yes. I agree with this idea.
