It is highly unlikely but I was wondering if it is even possible to have actors portray the characters ala MK1, 2, 3

What would it look like? Having actors in a 3D environment with a PS3-4 game engine? With today's technology it SHOULD be possible...

I would love to see the return of old character sprites, unfortunately the actors have aged as time passed by.

Yes of course. I just like the old actors like John Parish(Jax); Sal Davita(Scorpion in MK:M); John Turk(subbie in MK:M and all ninjas in MK3-T); I forgot the guy who plays kano and kabal but he is funny. Man how could I forget his name. These are just a few actors though and I think they were great in helping to make the early MKs.

What I think would work instead is to incorporate the type of motion capturing used in Heavy Rain where you really have the likeness of the actor in the character. Now THAT would be awesome!

YES! That's that guy!smilegrin. Also the Pesina brothers, Daniel and Carlos. One was fired after MK2 for the stupidest reason ever and the other has been working for them ever since. Mokap is a close resemblemce of him and he played Raiden in the old days.

Idea: If nobody has done this before, we should play a game of who am I with the cast of the early MK's.smile

I've been wondering what the whole real life sprites thing would look like nowadays, considering the huge advancements that have happened in video game technology over the years.
