They will just be selectable via variation, they'll not have the same moves.

Again, they will have to make a full model of Baraka though they already have him as NPC..still, it requires extra work NRS will not put in.

Dude, read. I said not using the moves of the given character as they would be selectable "variation". So they'll have their original moves, not the moves from the character they are selected throughout.

Or how about this...they introduce Shang Tsung as a stand alone DLC, and then have his variations be Rain, Sindel, and Baraka since he can shape shift and all, and then not even have a regular Shang version playable

Is it weird that I still hold a grudge against Sindel for her church going shenanigans in MK9?

I know it's not her fault, but I just can't make peace with it.

So I've got no real interest in seeing her for a good while.

Rain and Baraka however...I want them, but as stand-alone characters or not at all. Although, judging by the trailers, Alien already has some of Baraka's iconic specials. 99% sure I saw him bust out a Chop Chop Blade.

And as for Rain...honestly? I give up lol. I've wasted too much time already dwelling on how great MKX would be if him and Fujin made the initial roster.

But if Sektor, Smoke and Cyrax can be standalone and they're just variations so can Rain, Baraka and Sindel.

I'm ok with the Sindel scene. I always felt like she should be more than a regular character. She's the queen of Edenia. It makes sense to me that she'd be that powerful. A very powerful royal character brainwashed and powered up with the life energy of a very powerful sorcerer killing a bunch of characters at once? I believe it.

I just think they dont need another game any time soon. They already screwed the story up by killing quan chi since he is the only one that can bring kharacters back. I still believe they should at least try an expansion pack with a story mode expansion,10-15 kharacters,10 stages and more modes. I think it could sell well if they do it right

Uh no offense but no. Full characters or nothing at all. I don't want incomplete things taking up space in the game. If they gave me a half-cocked Kenshi with no fatalities, I'd personally be pissed.

If they're going to put the time and effort into creating something for free, I'd rather it be a complete free something. Like a costume, or an arena, or something else.

I've been saying this since April. I would definitely buy it. Even the negative Nancy's that post here daily would buy it.

They're created but they're not complete. They're about as bare bones as you can get. No intros, no bio's, no arcade endings, no brutalities, no fatalities, no MKX-specific combos, specials or combo strings, no new x-ray, nothing that makes every complete character in the game special. They would stick out like sore thumbs and not in a good way.

It's just not worth it. If NRS were going to put those 3 characters into the game, they would need to be complete and updated just like Tanya was otherwise it's not worth the money to me and it's kinda a slap in the face to fans of those characters who'd be jipped out of seeing them fully fleshed out like everyone else. Does anyone REALLY want to settle for a sub-par appearance just for the sake of being in the game even when it means that character is sacrificing so much compared to the rest of the roster? Everyone, including myself, bitched when the DLC's in MK9 had no intros and no alternates on console. Imagine the backlash NRS would get if they released 3 barebones characters with so much character content missing. It'd be nuts.
