Yes, Boon said there are no plans to have more than 1 XR per character, so i'm assuming they got rid of Raiden's old X-Ray.

This one sounds cool so I'm happy. I presume the characters that can do crazy stuff like Raiden can, will incorporate that into their X-Rays...I doubt we'll see Liu Kang flying into orbit and then back to earth with a super punch through the chest. They'll be toned down from Injustice but still new and exciting for MK.

I agree, Raiden is superhuman and a God, so his X-Ray sounds like a good fit for him, obviously the human character will not have X-Rays as cartoonish as Raiden's.

Shit sounds visually better but at the same time really unnecessary.

Aw man, I really liked his old X-ray, that's too bad.. I didn't want MK to have over the top X-ray's in Injustice fashion but oh well, I'll wait to see it to pass judgement. After all Raiden is the god of thunder so he will have to live up to his name and title.

I'm sure they'll keep the animation for a different character, seeing as they always do this when the games are in their alpha stages. Maybe a character that uses teleporting can benefit from that old animation, someone like Shang Tsung comes to mind. If they replace the electrocution animation and just have him steal their souls out instead, or if someone like Smoke would have it, he could smoke them up. You get the idea.

I have no problem with having an extra crazy X-ray move from Raiden. He Is a god after all, so why not? And as long as the X-ray moves are completely awesome, I have no problem with them being a little long. Tournament players didn't use the x-ray move because It took too much meter, and were better used to enhance special attacks.

I don't have any problems with the new X-ray cause I agree Raiden is a God and should have one that is somewhat exaggerated in comparison to most of the characters as some have said. It sounds badass indeed and we still have to see it in action. Its just that his previous one was one of my favorites and I hate to see it go since Boon deconfirmed the multiple X-ray's per character which is a major letdown for me

Yeah this new one sounds incredible. Can't wait to see it. And I don't mind it being kinda more in line with Injustice at all, Raiden is a God and sometimes Gods gotta punch people into thunder clouds.
