Question about changing factions

I have already reached level 50 in my initial faction, and I want the trophy for joining them all, but when you change do you lose your personal level or just the faction level? I know the faction level resets but how about the other one?

The reason I ask is because I also want the trophy for reaching personal level 65, but im not going to change factions yet if that resets when you change as well.

You won't lose your regular level, I'm almost certain. That wouldn't make sense and you'd probably see 100 threads complaining about it.

No, you don't. I've changed my faction several times, and my player level is still the same.
