posted03/06/2009 07:06 PM (UTC)byacidslayeri was playing mkda yesterday and bought a ending in the krypt. it's the one from mk gold. so i was watching it and got idea for some new moves and a fatality for quan chi.
fatality - in the movie baraka trys to kill quan chi but quan chi tricks baraka into his trap. baraka leaps at quan chi and quan chi freezes baraka in time and then explodes him. i thought this cinamatic scene would make as a nice fatality for future games.
moves1- in the movie quan chi makes a duplicate of himself to distract baraka. baraka kills the fake but see's it start decomposing. thats enough time for quan chi to make his move. i thought this could be nice for future mk games and it be simple and similar to sub zero ice clone but moving until it is hit.
moves2- when quan chi froze time and exploded baraka i thought quan chi could potentially stop time for a free attack as a move in mk9 or future mk games.
this character i feel has tons of potential but is getting wasted on lame storys and not many updated movesets. do you feel the same as i do and please comment on his fatality and some of his new moves for future installments.

Hey, Quan Chi was one of the newer characters that actually made a real impact on the Mortal Kombat series, that does kool moves that aren't his fighting moves. Like in the beginning video Deception when Quan Chi was fighting Raiden, he created a wall of green skulls to stop Raiden's electric shock. Then also in the beginning of Armageddon Quan Chi was battling Jax and after Jax broke Quan Chi's leg, he summoned two skulletons to the field to fight Jax's and they would be kool moves to too have.

necromancy would be great to see in a fight, to maybe sway the tide of the battle for quan chi in mk9 if brought back.
that skull wall he created in the video could maybe be a defense move for incoming projectiles for future installments.

maybe give quan chi a slow mo teleport along with maybe taking his blades of his attire and throwing at his enemy's body as a special attack.
I think it would be cool if Quan Chi has a move that mimicks his MK4 "Fatality Steal". This special move will have Quan Chi basically use a special move of a the character Quan Chi is fighting.
I believe many of us would agree on having the "Skull Wall" as part of Quan Chi's special move.
For a fatality I would like to see Quan Chi rip an opponent's head off and put it on a stick.
